is there an Austrlian site to look into ORC clutches more? or an Australian agent, keen to find out more. Cant seem to find an OS GIKEN clutch new at a reasonable price An i'll look into the Jim Berry clutches an see whats on offer. thanks for the info guys...keep it comin. Anyone know generally how long a twin plate will last? I know is a "depends how you drive" answer but just a ball park idea... "there about the same as a single plate", "there worse than single plate", "same as a factroy item in a factory car"???? Good to hear there almost the same to drive with!!

as title mentioned I am in need of a new clutch, the one Ihave now started slightly slipping a little while back an i'd rather replace it before its too far gone. Currently its running a 5 button ceramic Exceedy clutch thats been in there about a year and a half. I think i'll be in need of a good but not too expensive twin plate so i'm looking for a little "advice from experience" about which brands are better than others an drivabilty etc... the car is still street driven (weekends) an fingers crossed i'll be participating an a few of the team wang track days next year, so it needs to be able to cope with some abuse... STATS: CAR: R33 gts-t series 1 ENGINE: RB25DET POWER: well it made 248kw an 760Nm at Autosalon earlier in the year, but since then has a better fuel pump an tune. an am looking into getting it to the 280kw mark with new turbo set-up mid next year... any advice is welcome, i've seen ORC twins on Nengun.com for $1600 delivered, but dont know much about them, the Exceedy one seem to be more expensive an Nismo copper mix ones being about $2000....so many options... cheers

what does new plates cost? or re-lineing the old ones? does it come with flywheel? if so, is it alloy/billet or lightened or anything? i'm in need of a new clutch sometime soon, my ceramic button one is starting to slip. any idea on cost of freight to geelong, Victoria?

any idea on costs to re-line the plates?? is the car still ok wit street driving (traffic) with it in?? would you sell it cheaper without the flywheel? or is it some sort of special one to suit? lightened or anything?

This is definatly a great day, I had so mush fun last time I was on the skid pan...taught me a fair bit about controlling my car too (well, sideways anyway:)). Well worth the money thats for sure! I'd be there if i could. cant wait till the next advance driving day gets organised, the defensive one was a BIG eye opener!! on that note..... need an LSD for my Vk calias (either out of V8 or Vl turbo). good condition, 3.08:1 ratio or lower. the old single spinner in my everyday driver has just about had it...an i'm not paying near $900 to convert my existing diff, car's not worth it if you have one, or know of someone who does, let me know... contact Berin 0417 546 384 [email protected] cheers

can pick up Nismo injectors from nengun.com for pretty cheap (GTRinjectors are top fed, RB25 injectors are side fed = dont fit), thats where I got my 840cc ones from, I also had a Bosch 040 in tank pump...it lasted a year an was noisy. Now have the equivilant Nippon Denso pump which has made a huge diference, also with half the noise! my set-up is similar to yours, I'm running a hi-flow turbo on hi psi (18-20) and making 248rwkw.....not much more i can squeeze out of the turbo now though, it's pretty much at its limits, either cams or different turbo set-up to go further? but this set-up has run very reliably with no problems arising over the 1.5yrs i've had it like this (apart from bosch pump dieing and not getting anything back under warranty) cheers, my 2 cents

lol...no external gate on my car But I did leave a little "enthusiasticly" so for that I also apologise. Combination of tying to fit inbetween traffic after having to get out the driveway so slow to keep my front bar (which i still scraped)and trying to catch my mate in front of me so's I didnt get lost.... didn't mean to upset of offend anyone....nor was i trying to look "cool"....not much point to a bunch of skyline owners is there, I mean, we all know what there capable of, we all own one.

where abouts are you located? any chance of you fittem them up 2 your 33 and telling me if the offsets are ok? or me coming and trail fitting them to my car?

ah....thanks....sounds like the hi-flow I already have (which i also dont know the specs of but have the same description)... so guess i'll keep looking for my upgrade... if it helps the sale at all my hi-flow has managed 248rwkw at autosalon this year on 19psi cheers
