  1. great vids mate! but who's Benin?? lol anyone take photo's of the day? or was it a camera free day?
  2. Happy Birthday Bec!!
  3. James I'm pretty certain your allowed to relocate your front number plate to one side so long as it can still be clearly read and is to the curb side of the road (passanger side of the car). That'd be why you were never questioned. I was once tod by a TMU officer giving me a canary for ride height, that I was lucky I hadnt altered my rear plate to fit like most other imports, as he would have put that on the canary aswel. He also got me to pop my bonnet...commenting on the lightness of my carbon bonnet and asking where my second BOV was...hehe.....I also had my old decapatator GT wing on to that sat outside the lines of the car in spots....but ride height was all I was done for, he was really good about it. (gotta love height adjustment shocks)
  4. Nice looking rims, very similar to the old Nismo rims that came on the 400R's. Do you have any info on the offsets of these? an how can they be "multi-5 stud pattern" when theres clearly only one stud pattern? i'd assume they'd be a 114.3 x 5 stud pattern, if they were multi stud pattern there be more holes in the rims. any photo's of them with the centrecaps on?
  5. i thought there was a difference between series 1 & 2 versions on the Poncams??
  6. Wayne: What I'm paying isnt what it'd cost....as I'm getting it done through a freind of a friend sorta situation that will be doing it afterhours. I'd assume it's cost about $200-$250 to get 4 rims done, the coating costs about $100 for 4 rims, uncertain about sandblasting costs though. thanks for the pic JNR747. I dont mind the look of the black lip, but still leaning more towards sticking with white. It's being done in a weeks time so best I make my mind up quick smart. thanks for all the respose so far guys, always appretiated
  7. my rims are all naked an being sandblasted tomorrow, powdercoated tues/wed, an should be picking them up thursday arvo. Just in time to get tyres fitted an have them back on my car friday ready for the drag day Saturday... so i'll have black rims for first half of the day, then i'll crack out my MT drag radials that are on my hot pink AVS 16" rims on the rear of my car for the second half...lol
  8. well yeah, if the cruise ends up in Geelong I'll meet ya here as I live in geetown too.
  9. hope you had a great b'day Wayne!! cheers
  10. on your freinds 33, what sort of revs was it hitting full boost?
  11. well...I say it doesn't bother me an it doesnt cost that much.....but still not something i want to do from week to week....aint that cheap....hehe . Once a year to keep the car looking decent is enough.
  12. well I'm getting mine done through a freind....beers worth more than money ...hehe but I got quoted around the $25 per rim to powdercoat (place's round Geelong) plus whatever sandblasting costs. when I had mine done originally a few years back it cost me $60 per rim including sandblasting, I took the rims in to them in the morning and picked them up that same afternoon. Coating places wont do the work for you, there not mechanics and dont have tyre machines, so you'll need to organise taking them off your car, getting the tyres stripped off at your local tyre shop as well as removing the valves an any wheel weights, then take the rims to them as bare rims. Hope thats of some help. Cheers
  13. I've had to respray the lower lip twice since i've owned the car, an it doesnt really bother me as it doesnt cost a lot to do, I just detatch it and take it in. I might also add that in a week or 2 im getting the rims powdercoated gloss black as I'm over the grey.
  14. thanks DarK, much appretiated
  15. can anyone photoshop the photo so the lower lip looks black, just to give me a better idea of what it'd look like?
  16. My cars booked in to finally get the key scratch fixed on the 9th of October, whilst its there I'm getting my front lower lip resprayed as its chiped an cracked.....stupid witches hats...lol I was going to get it resprayed the same as it is (white), but a friend thinks I should do it black. what are your thoughts? cheers Berin
  17. here's a photo of XR6 rims on my mates 33 (NOTE: not the actual rims for sale, just helping out those wanting to know what they'd look like on a 33)
  18. far out....who would really think this is a cool mod?? can just imagine people putting them on there GT wings...siiik brro...lol
  19. 100% definate they fit an R33...my best mate has em on his an for proof if you look below....I borrowed his for the rear of my 33 for a drift day
  20. bugger....typical, pay twice as much for it an have to change it twice as much.....
  21. I've seen them before, dont know much about them apart from there a budget tyre. Cant expect much from a 17" tyre you can buy new for around $100 each
  22. Figured I'd probably need 2 bottles. I can get trade price, but no trade outlets sell Motul (that I know of). Main thing I wanted to know was colour...hard to tell when your fluid has been fully flushed out if the new stuff is the same colour as the old. maybe i'll use whats left over an change the clutch fluid
