  1. Nice wheels!!, I'd consider em if I had the cash, am looking for a change in mags. good luck with the sale
  2. Was a great cruise......good turn out, great group of people. You missed out!! should be another coming up in mid-late Nov? but not to certain on a date yet... As my luck continues (getting my car keyed) I now have a defect notice today (Sunday)for being too low.....DOH' :goddam: . I was pulled over in Ryrie st in the taxi rank bit near the TAB (could they have picked a more public place?), at least I have adjustable coilovers so fixing the minor defect aint a prob at all, its already fixed, but still kinda annoying....the cop was pretty nice about it really, just doing his job i guess. At least he didnt put the yellow tag up, just got the blue slip which I sign myself to declare it's fixed and mail it off to VicRoads. Whilst talking to the cop he asked me to pop the hood etc.... from my polite 10min conversation I had with him, he told me that becuase of the accident up top carpark recently they've been told to crack down on "modified" cars an "hoons" big time....and there going to....if you have a atmo BOV you can incur a $2000 fine (EPA fine), also you can now be defected for your big stereo (didnt clarify big) because with the vibration they create can weaken the cars structure by weakening the spot welds of the chassis etc (lucky i didnt have my usual 2 12" subs in the boot at the time)...kinda makes sense....but id say its more EXTREME nit picking!!! Ride heights, Tyres, tinted/modified (unroadworthy) head/tail lights, loud exhausts, power-weight ratio's (P platers)....the works. so be carefull driving around geelong, "hoons" & "modified" cars ARE being targeted as a repercussion of the accident recently involving "hoons" in "modified" cars. thought i'd give you the heads up rather than find out the hard way Berin should all meet up one weekend soon and catch up, bit of a meet & greet kinda thing, put names & faces to cars
  3. Talking to a few people about the re-spray next week, hopefully knowing a few contacts I can get it done at the right price, if not....white it will stay. Not sure on when I can get it fixed, almost have enough for my bigger injectors now, so the scratch unfortunatly will have to wait a month or two. I'll be selling putting my wing&bootlid up together for sale soon, after a stealth wing look now, then I wanna change the mags.....list goes on... it's all good one day:D James: not sure if an X1K members are coming? not even sure if that even exists still? reckon we should all just form a Geelong(an surrounding areas) section on SAU an organise our own cruise's, meetups, drinking nights....etc. any thoughts anyone? Berin
  4. some DAMN STUPID UNAPPRECIATIVE SMALL MINDED F&%#WIT of a person........KEYED my car yesterday whilst parked in the front carpark of TAFE (gordon, east geelong), it's about a foot long an down to bare metal along the r/h/r 1/4 panel.....STUPID PEOPLE. It's gonna cost me bout $350-$400 to fix.....GRRR but now I'm thinking.......change of colour? what colour? great minds think alike an james now has the original colour I was thinking so something different.....but what?who knows? time will tell..... see you all bright an early @ eastern beach, 8:30am Sat (16th) morning for the cruise
  5. Hey James, long time no see. The 33 looks awsome! hardly recognise it, nice choice of colour too.... Will catch up an have a closer look on Sat hopefully. see you then!!
  6. apparently with the accident up top carpark, it hit the VP, which hit a silver lancer, which hit a VH como wagon. Also heard there was a guy stepping out of the grey lancer as the VP was slammed into it an broke his leg in 2 places? and that the 180 wasnt even registered let-a-lone insured..... poor guys (parked innocently).... I've seen some people do some pretty stupid things up there trying to show off......cops are really gonna crack down now.... an as far as GTR's go, the silver 32 GTR is owned by one of the guys at "geelong tune up specialists" from memory, and the purple 33 GTR is owned by Raaj, but i think he's selling it due to a .3 coming along soon. There the only GTR's i've seen more than once round here....
  7. hey Trev, yeah ive seen ya round, 20" chromeies look pretty mad! You keen to come cruisin on Sat? should be a good day. Always a good way to meet all the skyline owners round here.....I've seen almost all of you round....met very few.....something like a cruise is a great way to fix that!! hopefully see all of you Sat morning bright an early!! all the details are in one of my posts above
  8. interested in Nov 6th, will send an email soon confirming
  9. my car makes the "flutter" noise, hi-flow turbo an running stock (mitsubishi) BOV, so does that mean my stock BOV is tighter than most stock BOV's?? Noise only on higher boost, so i'm thinking its because the stock BOV isnt up to the job...not tight enough. Be interesting to see peoples replies, as first mentioned, I've also heard some people say air pasing back through the turbo = not good, others say that its fine?
  10. i'll talk to a few people on the weekend an see if we can get some more coming along
  11. its a Tommy front but thats it (type M sides an stealth/drift wing)....cars stock bar front mount, bit of boost, an exhaust (power wise anyway), goes well!, an it wasnt hit in a carpark, thats one of 3 i know of stories going round. story he told me was kinda his fault, but not gonna put the story up here for certain reasons. you guys up for the cruise next sat? should be good fun for sure. I'm definately going for sure, so's Pavel i think....the more the merrier spread the word
  12. the guy parked next to me only got his R33 a few weeks ago, and has already caved the back in....he's shattered, as any of us would be... as far as the cruise goes, best option is to use citylink to get to the meet point in ferntree gully, can get some from shell servo on the way out of geelong. I'm guessing from here to Ferntree Gully train station will take around 1:30-1:45 hours to get to, then the cruise itself is around 250km distance (so for us its around 470km) so a few servo stops (well for me anyway) will be needed. there meet time is 10:30am departing at 11:00am (ive posted the details of the cruise by snowmans original thread below) DATE: SAT 16th October MEET POINT: first section of Eastern Beach carpark TIME: bright an early - 8:30am, departing 8:45am (better early than to be late) need full tank of fuel, an money for citylink daypass ($9.85 - lasts 24hrs) aswel as lunch etc... friends (passangers) are welcome. If you want to officially join SAU-VIC you can on the day @ a cost of $50 (I will be), future cruises will be a members only thing. anyway, heres detials provided by snowman: Cruise Details Meeting Place and Time. Western End of the Upper Ferntree Gully Train Station Car Park. Melways Reference: Map 74 F6. 10:30am with an expected departure time of 11:00am. This cruise is fairly long - extremely twisty in places - and the road has some sections that are VERY narrow. Consequently we will be running it at a controlled safe speed. But this is probably one of the best scenery cruises we will do through Australia's tallest forest so we'll be asking everyone to back off, relax and enjoy the drive. Please make sure that you have a FULL tank of fuel when you start. There is both Optimax and Ultimate available less that 500m from our starting point. The next available 98RON fuel will be an optimax that is about 180kms from the start of the cruise - and that is through very twisty conditions. Total distance of the cruise (back to Ferntree Gully) is about 250kms. Depending on how long we stop for lunch I expect to be back well before 5pm. Members All the members that come along - be sure to bring along your membership cards as we have the club stickers to hand out. They look fantastic. If there are guys out there that haven't joined the club and wish too - we will have membership forms available on the day. Most of the cruises for next year will be for members only.
  13. Hey Pavel, think I saw you up the top carpark on Sat night? i think it was your car across from mine, If so.....nice ride looks really neat. theres been a fair few new one come into geelong recently. There is a SAU cruise coming up soon, so should organise a meet point in geelong to leave from. There always a great day's driving, with more an more skylines every cruize (last one was around 50 i think). Great people too!! it's on the 16th of October so only just over a week away, spread the word, see how many the geelong crew can turn out.....it's usually pretty dismal, most geelong liners here dont want to "cruze" out of geelong. We could meet early morning down eastern beach as thats the most central point I figure.

  18. chances are that if there a mulit fit rim they'll have 8 holes (to suit 2 different 4 stud patterns)an only suit 4 stud cars (assuming the 180sx their off doesnt have a 5 stud conversion?), so wont suit a skyline good luck with the sale
  19. would this PFC work in a R33 with Z32 AFM?
  20. is it an "OFFICIAL MEMBERS ONLY" cruize? cauz I had a puncture on the day of the sign up meet I'll be there, always enjoy a good SAU-vic cruize
  21. I'd be interested, depending on price I guess....a rear camber kit with more adjustment would be good too. My rear are as vertical as they can get an still heaps of negative camber.
  22. bout 8 i think, mainy 31's, few 33's, a 32.....
