Excellent, Gap them to 0.8mm and see how it goes. (Yes Boost IS Fun. )
Earthing it is 7psi all the time, Bypassing it you will get Actuator pressure only.
(5psi stock) or as you (and I) have done, 10psi.
If for some silly reason you had the R32 actuator and the solenoid earthed and connected, you would get 12psi and it would be crap because of the ECU freaking out due to Too Much Boost / Air.
If either of you bought an SAFC and had that tuned, you would be amazed how much more power you get.
(even though in the scheme of things it's not very much compared to the big boys 20psi+ etc.)
