  1. Looks like it was well over subscribed... 2.6billion scaled back to 750mil pro-rata, so probably get whatever you applied for divided by about 3.7.... so 15k ~4k give or take.
  2. Yeah there is defiantly no 1:1 in this. As long as you are a share holder you get to apply for the full amount (15K) minus anything you picked up in the last SPP. As for NAB taking all they can get, if this happens then it will effect the share price i suspect.... we'll see in just over a week...
  3. The NAB SPP specifically states that the offer isn't transferable.... but we don't know what your doing so we can't say if it's illegal I've applied for the full amount, think i'll be lucky to get 1/3. What do you recon Daniel?
  4. Yeah - I just don't drive it enough these days since i changed jobs and have less time. I either need to drive it or sell it, no point letting it sit there undriven. I've done <1,000ks in the last 12 months, very sad. I haven't put it on carsales or anything yet, I should really do that

    Tyres For Gtr

You could try 255's as well on a 9.5" wide rim... even 265's would probably work if that model tyre aren't too wide (one tyres 265 isn't the same as another 265).
  6. The place I play Mens Futsal on Wed & Fri night @ Endevour Hills are starting up a mixed league on Sunday afternoon/evenings, and I want to move my team there(we play @ Albert park right now), so I'm just spreading the word trying to generate interest, the more teams they get registered the more likely I can move my team there So if you or anyone you know might be interested in moving your team or starting a mixed team, then have a look at their website: http://flamesfutsal.com.au/ and contact the guys who run it, John & Ian, or if you like contact me and i can pass on your details. The Mens league is very well run, and friendly so I would expect the Mixed league to be the same... Any questions feel free to ask myself or the guys that run it
  7. Who's that knob in yellow t-shirt on the left of the photo? Hint: Check the Nissan.com.au site later today for some pics/video of snowy picking up his GTR

    2009 F1 Season

To all those who said last year that Hamilton needs to prove himself in a crap car (Troy?)... 18th -> 3rd in a crap car... Credit where it's due! Good to see Button win, and Brawn take a 1-2.
  9. 1995 R33 GTR Midnight Purple Racepace forged and blueprinted engine with over 300kw at the wheels, GTSS Turbos, N1 Oil and water pumps etc... Racepace speced up transfer case Racepace modified Tien RA Suspension Racepace modified Cusco Camber/Castor bits Alcon 6pot 365mm Brakes Genuine Series 3 Xenon headilghts Genuine Series 3 Front lip colour coded, yes real, plasic, not fibreglass, worth $1300 new.... ouch. R34 GTR Rims And all the other bits and peices that go with it to support, have plenty of receipts for all the work done, probably more than the asking price but don't want to add them up. I've owned it for over 5 years now and since starting my new job i just don't drive it enough, it's a shame to have it just sitting there. If you want a fast street car, that can drive to the track, run faster laps than pretty much every car at the track days, then drive home, this is the kind of car you want. It has done 1.48's at Philip island, 1.22's at Sandown etc... and still has another couple of seconds in it easy, if not more. It's piss easy to build a fast street car, but to build a fast reliable track car takes a fair bit of money and effort, and this is what you are getting with this car. You will not be able to drive this car to it's limits on the street. I'm not super keen on selling it, but if the right offer comes along i will let it go to a good home. Most people in the Vic club know me and my car and can back up what i've said. Happy to discuss the car and it's history to any serious buyer. Anything i tell you i'm sure can be confirmed by Ben @ Racepace. Very well looked after car. Price: $40,000 Contact: Andrew on 0413 278 777 And a few random pics:
  10. This one is funny as well haha:
  11. Lewis didn't have the best drive today, but he kept his cool. I mean shit how many of us having nothing to do with the race were biting our fingernails? Karma for Ferarri tho, the other bs penalties that went on during the season against Lewis, but never against ferarri.... And to any Italians who had their heart ripped out this morning...
  12. yeah i half wish i bought the GT diesel, the extra fuel econ and torque would of been nice.... As for launching, yeah DSG's have launch control If i remember correctly, it's while stationary, foot on brake, put it into sport mode, then to manual mode, then back to sport mode. Then rev the car, it should hold at 3,000rpm, and let go of the brake when ready I'd say the diesels feel faster than the GTI because of all that torque... even though i know they aren't actually as fast. And i only drove the 107kw Diesel not the 125kw one.... Ohh and if anyone is looking to buy a golf, or any VW in Vic, then drop me a line and i can hook you up, I have a mate who works for VW, gave me a pretty good price
  13. MMS - try swirlymms if you want mms, it works reasonbly well, costs a few bucks tho, gotta jailbreak for it, which isn't a big deal. The GPS is a gps chip, it's not turn by turn nav.... but the dot DOES stay in the middle of the screen as long as you don't touch the screen/pan around. The second you pan around it turns off the dot tracking. Yeah great device, apart from the fact it runs windows mobile. I used WM for years, unfortunately the UI isn't even in the same league
  14. The Diesels have awesome amounts of torque, but they are slow off the line for that first second, that hurts their 0-100 time... I really liked driving the diesels, i was so close to buying one... the extras of the GTI suckered me in. Ohh and the DSG on the Diesels don't have the flappy paddles... only the GTI and GT have the paddles.
  15. Looking forward to seeing the R35 in the flesh....
  16. My 2cents. - Penalising Hamilton for Turn 1 incident at the start, harsh considering crap like that goes down all the time, pretty harsh, but as long as they are consistent from now on when someone else does the right thing. - Massa's penalty, he cut the corner, had his whole car on the wrong side of the white line, then took Hamilton out. Defiantly a Penalty. Defiantly worse than Hamiltons pass then let kimi by then pass again a few weeks ago, but yet they got the same penalty? Dodgy. - Bourdais being penalised for Massa hitting him? Don't agree with that one either. Bourdais was on the inside, where else could he go? Is he suppose to just pull over come to a complete stop and let Massa by? I thought this was meant to be racing.... - Hamilton was a bit of a tard for his inpatients at the start, cost him a load of points, i bet no one his kicking him more than himself. Only one person to blame for that one.
  17. Not sure about Jettas. But all the Diesel golfs have an option of DSG. The GTI is Petrol but can have the DSG, same with the R32. Basically the DSG is the replacement for the Auto box on the above listed cars. If you tick the auto box, it is a DSG. Great gearbox, i just bought a GTI for daily driving, one of the reasons i bought it was for the DSG, plus it's good on fuel and doesn't go to bad. Problem is now i don't drive the GTR enough
  18. Here you go Shan - new media player being devloped that may please you. http://iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1906 Personally i'm fine with the inbuilt one, pitty i have to convert my mpg/xvids to iphone format first tho, but can understand why. You could also try the app airsharing from appstore, you can upload your files/music/videos direct to it and just play them from in there. Safari on the iPhone rocks, no other web browser for a phone/pda comes close.. who cares if its called safari or chrome or firefox... functionality/ui/ease of use. Reception has been fine for me, except for the fact optus 3g network sucks balls... Home button ending a call - come on, there is a big farken button there the size of a house that says "END CALL" iTunes - sucks on windows yeah, slow and crap, but the functionality isn't bad... The Appstore is pretty good - some handy apps on there, once you get past all the crap ones. And you can jailbreak 2.1 with quickpwn for windows - works great, released by the dev team.
  19. I change between DS2500 for street and DS3000 for track. DS3000 bite way harder than the DS2500.. not impressed with the 2500s really. I tried running 3000's on the street ones, they chewed my rotors up in a few thousand kays, plus DS3000 brake dusts stuff your wheels.... i wash my wheels straight after a track day of using ds3000s. Would love to run a single pad for track and street. Anyways to the OP - bed in brand new pads as normal (hard stops), but once they are bed in, when you swap from then on just driving to the track on your race pads softly will be enough to transfer some pad across to the disc.
  20. Speak to Brisby about your car, he's the 32gtst king. He makes good power which is pretty responsive, ask what setup he has. Also i'd be focusing on suspension setup. Unless your brakes were fading then dont worry too much about them just yet. Tyres are super important, but the more grip you have in tyres the higher spec the rest of your setup needs to be.
