  1. My 356mm 8pot d2 brake kit from the group buy got delivered this week, for a big brake kit they are surprisingly light and are very well made. and for the rear i went for dba 4000 series rotors with the QFM A1rm pads and gktech braided lines. I finally had a bit of time on friday arvo and got to fitting it all. A few other things were delivered aswell this week. it felt like Christmas with all the boxes of parts building up. i got a kaaz 1.5way diff which will be a lot better then my standard diff which has opened up. I just need to find somewhere that can install in any housing for me. if anyone knows someone around the newcastle, maitland area who the would recommend let me know. Gktech adjustable rear traction arms which i will helpfully put in soon with the rest of my adjustable arms when i get some time away from work and tafe again.
  2. Mine got delivered today thanks again for the organizing of the group buy. im just double check before i put the kit on but the brake lines that came in the kit the 2 in the bag were from d2 and the other 2 loose ones in the box are the ones you got made up right?
  3. these are a good idea for getting screws started in those hard to get to places or get them out with out dropping them. i use it at work all the time
  4. The last of my adjustable arms showed up today,I went for the just jap front upper control arms. I will get an alignment once i fit them all i'm thinking of going neg 1.5 degrees front camber and positive 7 degrees castor and rear neg 1 degree camber I think that will be good enough to run on track and not increase Tyre wear too much on the street.
  5. I got some goodies from gktech delivered. the car is slowly coming together now. i got braided brake lines even though i don't need the fronts it still worked out better getting the set then buying just the rears separately and brake master cylinder stopper. And adjustable castor rods and upper rear arms. I'm very impressed with the quality and just how light weight they are.
  6. The D2 calipers have 4 x 26.4mm and 4 x 31mm diameter pistons compared to the 4 x 40.4mm pistons. So there is a significant increase in surface area.
  7. Thanks mate i will keep going as my bank account can keep up haha A little bit of an update i got at gtr brake master cylinder and booster today to hopefully give a good pedal feel when my new brakes get here. I will get a rebuild kit for as well when i can find one i haven't had much luck yet. if anyone knows where i can get one, let me know?

  12. im looking into getting my suspension arms now. Im thinking gktech rear upper control arms arms and front castor rods, I will look at those cusco front upper arms aswell I should have my brakes in the next few weeks i got the 356mm 8pot D2 kit through the group buy. They are probably a bit overkill for me but that were at an awesome price. Thanks for the advice on the rest aswell
