  1. damn you i just had to cut down on spending and you come up with this. Ok, questions, will they produce a relocator kit, i know i can buy elsewhere, but getting one from the same provider as the kit and lines and of equivalent quality is a big plus to me, if they'll make a kit as an option i'm sure there will be plenty of interest. Second, once this GB ends can i still nag you for a kit like i did for the brake lines??
  2. dont tell me that... i've got a clutch waiting to go and i'm just too chicken shit to try it myself... telling me i can do it on ramps is gonna lead to disaster...
  3. heh... well said. Engine manuals free online, not this one. I was looking for this, shame your selling it when i'm broke, would be useful for the work i'm doing.
  4. yeah this is the first one i've had thats gone more than a little pair shaped. Shame, dave was doing ok up to the point he dissapeared, supplier delays happen... disappearing isnt cool. Anyone heard from him yet? Do we know when the order is meant to be shipped?
  5. check with a guy called PM-R33 on the forum, he can get you some hel braided brake lines.
  6. best advice on this one mate is to revert it to stock and sell it that way and then sell the mods separately. These things are really hard to shift (i know because i have an immaculate stock 06 premium with 36k km on it that i tried to shift with no luck at all). You might do it eventually, but only if you find someone who really cares about the mods, with most 03's going for low $20's its a buyers market. Hopefully you can get rid of the car that way and them sell that parts on here for your asking price or more. That said, good luck with the sale.
  7. yeah i have to agree with you theres nothing like it. I'd been watching the F1 on TV for years, finally went to the melb GP one year and was awestruck... gets the testosterone sloshing around your ears in about 2 secs flat.
  8. Can offer any useful input here Rowan, but good work on the info you've gathered so far and keep us all updated with any info you come up with that you can share. Had a similar thing happen to me a few months back here in sydney but the get away car was stolen a month or so before (from the other side of the city)
  9. as real as the paper they're printed on!
  10. Settle down lads, you know what happened last time you hazed new commers... give her time to warm to us all before you start sledgeing. Welcome to SAU Chloe, have fun and please dont feed the animals. BTW your probably going to get a lot of random crap in here... eventually from me as well... just relax and dont take it to heart... we've only seen pictures of females, never actually met one.
  11. yeah it is a bit mixed, from a business perspective David would have done well to send the money as soon as the order and quote was confirmed. This would have obliged matt craft to honor the original quote. That said he didnt and instead waited until after the supplier issues were sorted, good in as much as people who didnt want to wait could "technically" cancel, bad in as much as it left the order open to adjustment (price rises included). Now at the end of the day $10 dollars isnt much to me, and if i know i'm getting what i ordered i guess i can deal with it at the end of the day. The down side however is that i now have a less than stellar impression of Daves group buys. Once you've accepted people money your obligated to keep them in the loop and work your ass off making sure everyone is across any changes. Take a look at PM-R33's pedal GB, its been through hell and back yet he's made sure he replied to each and every query. So to Dave, mate if the mats are coming, thanks for organising it all and finishing the deal, but if you lose net for a time, call a friend daily and get them to monitor the thread and relay details, delegate what you can and keep your buyers happy. It means less anger and bad blood that way.
  12. hungry, its now over a week since your last "update" and still no sign of you. This is getting beyond a joke, either start frequenting the forum again and take control of you group buy, or cancel the lot and refund everyone. I was happy to hold on whilst the supplier issues were sorted out, but thats apparently been done, but now your awol and we're getting requests for more money. Perhaps that request would have gone down better if you had delivered it yourself or come online the day after as promised.
  13. come on mate, its a week on since the last update, this is getting beyond ridiculous. If you want to adjust the price then start frequenting your own group buy thread again.
  14. In a pinch, just use vice grips, the flare nut will still be arsed, but you can just finish the job and be done with it.
  15. Just because i really enjoy sharing how retarded i can be at times. This is what happens when you dont pay attention to what your doing. Soft alloy calipers + nice hard brake lines + me == fail! Talented arent i. Replaced now though and alls well.
  16. wonder if they could punt some of that money to making the place not stink like shit. Minor gripe i know, but i almost felt awkward at superlap as the wind was blowing off the dump and across the track and i couldnt help but think "this smell must be making a great impression on the international drivers".
  17. can we get hungry on now he has net to give us an official update?
  18. dont mean to sound stoopid, but do you actually need a full functioning shock strut, or are you after a specific part?? I only ask because i have a whole set of stock suspension and srpings from a 33gtst, but the rear passenger shock is leaky and stuffed.
  19. bought my 350gt of dimirty there (it was actually his car, not the dealerships). They're a pretty good mob there, honest and dont dick you around. Always get an independant inspection however, no matter how honest the trader is, they can still miss things. But all in all, good cars and nice people, just use common sense and check all the details.
  20. so, the untimed session thing kinda puts the "trying to record a good time at a timed event" excuse to rest, on.. the trying to look after his passenger thing kinda did it too. if he's trying to set cracking times, why did he have a passenger (z that is).
  21. havent bled a coolant system before, but logically any bleeding from a bleedscrew/nipple should be a continuous flow as spluttering is normally a sign of air pockets. Depending on how hot it is, is it possible to attach some clear hose to the bleed screw? if so do that and have the hose run up hill before turning down to a catch can. Any air should bubble up and out while the fluid will not flow over the up hill section and should stop air coming back in, jobs done when you just get fluid but no air pumping through. (this works for brakes... dont know about coolant).
  22. not talking bright fricking blue... more a silver blue.. so it stands out just a little form the paint of the car. Silver and black does look the goods tho... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/308588-installed-the-370zg37-akebono-sports-brakes-kit-on-the-v35/
  23. blue with silver nissan would look good on a silver car if you ask me.
  24. i have a spotless 06 Series 3 auto premium coupe... low km's on it too, i think it was 35k km at the time. dealer offered me $16k.
