  1. ASPLEY... I pick up a 2002 Corolla Conquest today so that I can go past without wankers being wankers... The line is going off the road for a while while I replace some parts, do some polishing and a general tidy up... Its been a daily for almost 2 years as I sold my n15 SSS to help with spending money for NYC at the start of the year...so it needs a few things!!!
  2. Yeah I avoid the Maccas (I live about 2 mins away)...one of the reasons I am about to purchase a little run about (that and the fuel saving pays for the replacement car) Too many bogans...even where I live... Its amazing how many of them struggle to get the buckets started so that they can just drive the 5-10mins down to maccas/...wankers Oh and once the above purchase is finalised the line is coming off the road for some much needed repair work...
  3. Ummm like try this... www.yellowpages.com.au
  4. Oh OK cool, different Rob... So that would mean stiff competition between yourselves and ADD or will there be some CROSS work performed...just a question...nothing harsh intended. Also for note Rob Bliss send cars to Mac's when they are busy...but that is a whole other kettle of fish...
  5. Decent times, shows that there is a very low time in it given those 60ft times!!! Excellent work!!! Any tyre shake/suspension shudder??? Lines seem to be prone to this problem...
  6. Its posted about 5 posts up....
  7. What happened to ADD....(not that I am complaining...) Rob you would not have happened to be a Superior Tyre employee for sometime now would you???? Otherwise sounds like a good plan.
  8. Luke that pains me to see a car sit like that...for gods sake I will even lend you some wheels to sit the car on....
  9. Where can you get Contact Cleaner?????
  10. Anyone got the DVD or link...my wonderful SUBSCRIPTION copy (yes my bro got it for me...the dick drives a V8...so now you know why I get it) did not have the DVD...
  11. Have not go around to it yet...just bought another car to get around so that I can progress a few things on this and the house... Also waiting to see what changes there are to the BOS Importing one regarding the position of the 02 sensor
  12. Spotted Silver R33 Series 1 Personalised plates along Gympie Road last night at chermside about 10:30pm...
  13. I have responded to you other post on Redlineau
  14. The general rule is about 20-25% drive train loss...I think Sydneykid has smacked it in the middle with about 23%. AWD would be slightly more...
  15. If you want to stick to auto, then Aspley Automatics, strangely at Stafford...have had them do quite a few builds. For full race spec then your looking at BIG BUCKS, if you want a contact please PM me...
  16. Looks the goods. Cameron's do excellent work!!!
  17. Aren't they currently running a 1920's car on almost 100% ethonal...and required the jets on the carby changed and some timing and its running sweet... Bad comparison I know...but would like to see how it would go in a performance car for the same distance. Also ethanol has a higher burn temp, resulting in increased wear on items such as valves, vale guides and rings. Not to mention heat pressures on oil and other associated compenents lubricated by the oil...a factor that not many consider... And anyone knows, you could piss in the tank of a Falcon (and I would wish too) and it will keep going...
  18. Nice Welds!!! Actually a very nice set up, what size pipe are you running?? Also brand of cats???
  19. I have seen a few incidents when I went to UQ, the unfortunate thing is alot of the time its spoilt kids around there that do it, I remember chasing a little farker through the backstreets after he throw a rock at my mates commie... the other sad thing is you see so many rich mommies boys/girls open car doors on other cars in the car parks also!!! Glad to see you got some of it out Warren, i know how you feel...
  20. GOLD!!!! Plus I don't like Celica's...
  21. I am not disagreeing with the above, I have built many engines, however I will never proclaim to be an encyclopedia nor a professional engine builder. Also the info on the internet can be somewhat muddied at times. He should have a plan especially for the run in, taking into consideration the engine characteristics, including but not limited to, honing, type of pistons, rings, clearances, squish, bearings etc etc etc At the end of the day, you did ask for run in oil and you have your answer...
  22. Queensland Street Cars site...
  23. I just looked as QSC...the fact is you had to be 18 to enter, well so i thought, and OMG some of them should not be allowed out, let alone on stage...their parents MUST be so PROUD... Nice photos Dave!!!
  24. Thanks Peter, And yes Ken I read your post, maybe you should try searching under OTHER things... As I have already said Motul make a specific run in oil, mineral based. Same with Pennzoil...maybe have a look on their sites, and as I said in the thread above, if your engine builder cannot give you a detailed run in procedure...get another engine builder!!!
  25. Drove past 85URK on the road back from Jambo on Saturday after qualifying, was in the passenger side of Cam's black evo!!!
