  1. Ok peeps i need some help tracking down the part in the first pic. It's the pin that holds all of the drum brake shoes together via springs. I need two from either an R32 or R33 gtr. The pic is not of the exact part. Its a 27mm nylock nut on the back of it. I'm local brisbane if need be; i have all the tools to pull it off if you have it on a wreck. Please PM or txt me on 0415 054 949 Thanks.
  2. Hey bud do you have any of the rear hub parts i'm chasing this in particular (see image) http://www.filedropper.com/drumbrakepin Here it is in the hub http://www.filedropper.com/drumbrakepin2 It hold all of the drum brake shoes in place.

  4. Yeh bud just tell him they're the cam cover breathers. couldn't think of the term when i wrote this up the other night. And also if you are in brisbane looking for hoses try Powell behind Repco at coopers plaines.
  5. Hi bud, I am far from an expert on rb20dets as i have only worked on my rb25det but as best i understand they are the same for this DIY mod. as far as oil catch cans are concerned that one you have bought is fine..... however the overkill in this instance with the $400 on all the speed fittings etc is not necessary as the catch can has very little pressure. so you could use just braided clear hose if you like, however its probably not the best material. Now you can get proper braided oil hose from Repco or a local hydraulic supplier as long as its oil resistant other wise it may deteriorate over a long period of time. as for nifty fifty fittings to replace your stock cam cover outlets contact this bloke on the forums - (to be advised 'waiting on a mate' to get back to me) Depending on your budget you can have the catch can plumbed back into your sump so you never have to drain it when it gets full. Good luck with the mod. THIS GUY!!! ------> http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/user/1619-interloper/
  6. Hi guys, I'm trying to get confirmation of which of these fuel pumps will fit into r33 rb25det series 1 and series 2. I emailed an Australian supplier who is useless to keep it short. Has anyone used these and do they know part numbers. These are in tank fuel pumps, have had really good reviews on average LPH performance compared to walbro or bosch. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers. Nick
  7. Hi guys in a very desperate situation. Was replacing the water pump on the girlfriends 99 RX EJ201 N/A impreza and when I attempted to reassemble the timing belt etc. the thread on the tensioner pulled some of the alloy out with the bolt. :@ My biggest dilemma is I am more than capable at doing the majority of mechanical work, but I have never attempted a heli-coil and nor do I have the equipment. Any one able to help out or suggest someone fairly low cost. I'm not concerned if you are not a qualified mechanic as I am neither just someone that knows what they are doing. The bolt diameter is 10mm. The car is located in Runcorn Please PM me or sms 0415 054 949.
  8. ^^hahah this guy....this isnt boost cruising mate, he said cash o.0 HTH
  9. Good news, after alot of dicking around from the cops, they finally got a hold of my brother to tell him that they DID print the car after all and got a match from underneath the rear wing. (Intially they said that they wouldnt print the car cause it had been out in the rain) The print pertained to some Richard Rooney from Redcliffe. Havent been informed whether they have found and charged the guy. But hopefully we will hear something soon. My house mates car went about 5 months prior. Its all covered under insurance, only about 8 weeks later but it is getting done. Btw little bit of useful information, dont ever get your car done by Woollongabba Car Collision, they are under review for dodgey work.
  10. err mad spelling... * The car specifically was left just north of the shops on the side road paralell to beenleigh road. on the left heading towards runcorn train station.
  11. Hi guys, This story has had a happy-ish ending. The car is now back in my brothers possession. (off to CSI to get looked over) However would love to know if anyone saw anything early this morning on beenleigh road at Runcorn. (approx. after 11.00 pm.) My brother was still up at around 3am but didn't see anything only noticed some head lights but didnt get up to investigate. (as our house mate had his burgandy r33 series 1 stolen from the same house out on the road). The car had been pushed out of our driveway to just past down infront of the shops on beenleigh road. They couldn't get the car started, ignition barrel is rooted, all the trimmings are in about 10 pieces and they took the headunit as a consellation probably. It really looks like a mob of joy riders. Its has plates MUP37, gtr wing, P1 Buddy clubs in grey same colour as car. The was specifically was left on the service road beside beeleigh road. Any help would be awesome. its a stretch as it always is. But even if we could just find out a basic description race colour etc.
