  1. Hmm, the blonde one as per this picture here is Abbie, right? If so, she was great. My pick of a great group of girls.
  2. Just to clarify for some people, as the information above is a little conflicting. The RB20DET came in both Red and Silver -top variants.
  3. Gamespy.com Good reviews and interesting features and interviews.
  4. Damn that was some good stuff. Got there at 1:30; walked from the city to Burswood, and left at about 4:30. Some very nice cars; Jashs' [GTAAH] scared the crap out of me when it backfired, and I could hear [ND4SPD] from the stage when it did its last power run (causing me to run over there so I could hear the wastegate scream). Oh, and the girls were nice too.
  5. Looks like an R33 GT-R with a 'hatch' section 'photochopped' on. If it is real, though, it does look pretty strange.
  6. $18 for adults, and I think it opens at 10am.
  7. No, the R32 GTS-4 has the RB20DET.
  8. No, the stock suspension does not consist of coilovers; just shocks and springs. To paraphrase Sydneykid, Japanese suspension components are designed for Japanese conditions, not Australian conditions. Our rough roads need something different (Whiteline or King springs are used often).
  9. Our fuel is rated using the RON 'standard' (resultant octane number?) Our best fuel (and the stuff 'we' run Skylines/Silvias on) is RON98, though they are tuned for Japanese RON100, so we suffer from a slight performance loss. Our 'Premium' is RON95, and our standard 'Unleaded' is RON91/92 -- depends how much of that corrosive ethanol is added.
  10. What, Schmacko's? Hmm, and I heartily recommend Joop! as a cologne for any special occassions.
  11. The good thing is that he doesn't abuse people when they are wrong; rather, he points out their mistakes and goes about trying to help those people correct them. I'm visit quite a few (car and non-car related) forums, and it's people like Sydneykid who are respected.
  12. Ahaha! That one was about 2 weeks ago? --------------- I also hate bad spellers. The problem is that they get so used to typing in 'slang' that it actually makes their overall spelling worse. Heck, I type everything out in full (the same goes for text messages on my phone); I'm so used to it now that I type faster than people who do write in slang.
  13. There's also a little bit on www.ipixel.com.au about importing a Skyline into the US; and let's just say it definitely isn't cheap.
  14. Depends which ones, though. I was quoted $1700 for a set of standard P1 Racing's (non-forged, though still good) in hypergold (17x8) by C-Red. Another place quoted $650 per rim (17x8) for P1 Racing QF's (forged), so my guesstimate is about $800 ea. for 18x9's.
  15. Try get some concrete details; from what I know, it uses a modified ATESSA system...
  16. Well, if that is not how it exactly works, then I'd like to know exactly how it does (right down to the nitty gritty scientific details).
  17. I should get a photo of the Renault Clio that parks near my house on the weekend. The one with GT-R badges...
  18. Try Buddy Club (www.first-inc.co.jp) P1 Racing QF's... about $800 each, from memory.
  19. I think when he mentioned stainless steel, he may have been referring to the 'mesh' used in the air filters. Some have a cotton (?) weave, whilst others (expensive Jap. brands) use a stainless steel mesh (with cotton).
  20. The APEXi N1 exhaust is over 90dB. You can get a silencer for it ($100) though, which makes about a 7dB difference (a 7dB difference is more than it sounds). Get it engineered; from my understanding (or at least in WA), noise tests are done at 2/3 of the rev range, so it should pass that with a silencer -- to prevent an officer from telling you it's too loud.
  21. Err... Shower once or twice a day, depending on how much exercise. Wash hair once a day and exfoliate as I have bad skin. And I was hunting around for some decent (expensive) cologne today, and found that 'Joop' stuff. $95 for 75ml, and it's awesome stuff. It's a must-have (and I'll be getting some for my school ball).
  22. It'd be nice to see a R34 GT-T putting out 350rwkW. Personally, I'd say go for a full management replacement, because it offers more control than an emanage.
  23. Just remember that uni-directional tyres can only be swapped to the other side if they are symmetrical. Quite a few performance tyres are now asymmetrical.
  24. I'd say the S15. I love their shape, especially in either Pewter Grey, Black, or Brilliant Blue. And, if you really wanted to, just do an RB20 conversion. The best of both worlds
  25. Yep; it's a bible to me: http://imports.motortraders.net/imports/home.asp
