Yeah the evo is a great car doesnt go like my 33 did (yet) but for corners and just being a great fun drive id say definitely an upgrade name="rondofj" post="7052746" timestamp="1380934387"]Mick O, your 33GTST was da 'bomb, it was an ultimate rwd streeter. Is the evo 9 much of an upgrade except for the awd? If it was me I wouldnt sell that 33 except if I really had to get an R, just sayin..

    Im hoping there ain't any evoOz guys in here lol but I find a majority of them to be *toolscough* so don't really use that site anymore. Im only looking at the most responsive 300-330kw I can get with a stock framed turbo on E85 of course.

    Pretty sure the Brad Penn stuff is fine Mick as forced performance recommend that stuff in their JB turbos and all the evos in the states use it

    Oh I don't mind pushing the boost into my motor mate What kinda power did you make and are you on E85? I know the red really needs ethanol to bring it to life. 3700 still doesn't seem laggy. I wonder since that I have mivec a toxic fab manifold M2 cams and a free flowing exhaust how much response id gain including hta and DCBB? Hmmmmm the red may just win me I have looked at GT pumps turbos but to be honest im not really overwhelmed by their products.

    So what sort of revs does the red really start pulling hard in 2nd and 3rd Mitch? Im still deciding on reds and greens on my car.. Think you have seen my setup yeah? What would you choose in my shoes?

    Read Ants thread? Brand new outta the box didn't work pretty sure Matt 34geeteetee had dramas with his too. Also read some evo boys having dramas with them & not to mention my tuners experiences with them.

    I agree Marty I have heard nothing but good things bout their after sales service! But buy an improving product or buy 1 that works? I wouldn't risk my motor on an "improving product"

    Dont buy a haltech! Look at the failure rates/issues on here lately. . Be crazy to buy 1! I can show you a viseo that will also change your mind
