  1. The interior can't differ that much...still WGCN34, but Dave's on the money...the late 98 model Autos got the tiptronic AT plus shifters on the steering wheel. Sock: the white interior you've shown are the M35 2001 Stageas...which you can see has the same interior theme seen throughout all the later Nissans.
  2. Charlie are your wheels still sitting at the garage over here? I thought all your gear left ages ago, but I did hear you were using a different shipping company. Need any help? Sorry I miss your phone call last week mate.

All I'm going to say about this topic is Kansai Cops are the best
  4. Happy B'day mate...a belated Birthday cake will be coming your way soon
  5. Shaken is the government Cash-Cow...but they prefer to call it Compulsory Road Worthy Inspection.
  6. You mean when you change providers? I kept my number when I upgraded my mobile with the same provider.
  7. I don't have a photo of mine handy and I'm too lazy to search for it...but both I've used are Sony non-camera mobiles...it is about time I upgraded again. I don't quite think so...:D
  8. Fark...I don't want to know how fast their BFs drive, but if you were cruising it doesn't feel fast I guess. PS. we'll need to catch up and talk about the May trip. P-PS. I'm away in Sydney for Golden week.
  9. Mines ECU aka VX ROM is reprogramming your ECU with their chip. AFAIK they cannot be reprogrammed without a Mines S/W. So aftermarket is the only way if want more control or send your ECU back to Mines.
  10. Hachi's are over priced here in Japan... what are the regulations for import to UK...no time period?
  11. Maybe things have gotten quieter since start of the year, still being in a lock down is not fun. There were two late last year which made the papers, when it was getting out of hand. Yeah, the cops will do nothing but just park there, course unless you don't leave. So now you know better to stay near the car
  12. Jess, this may be Japan and you can get away with alot of things but still common sense dude. Do you know about the bozozoku? You'll probably do the same thing. Nanko has been a no go zone since late last year, too many cops. I was down there earlier this year on the practise night and had to wait till 4am before we got any action and it was only for 20miniutes before the cops turned up. Best to stay away for a while mate.
  13. So when do I get to meet the girls?
  14. really...who knows... I read different from Japantimes and Mainichi Will let you know what I hear
  15. Jess: you sure she didn't say that just to win your gaijin ass :D. PS. She may have been or still a Race Queens or model...but most are short lived as the money ain't great.
  16. Dave: DC said they will currently not inject more money, they haven't said anything about selling their 37% share. As you may have also heard Mitsubishi Group is going to continue with the restructuring so things may not go complete shit, but I will be very interested to hear what my boss say about this.
  17. Dave if you need help, let me know...I will happly pick one up for you and drive it over in May
  18. steveL: easy dude...should have clarified earlier.
  19. steveL: easy dude...but you never said that in your post did you.
  20. steveL: easy...but you never said that in your post did you.
  21. Manuals started from the end of '98 (Series 2)...$25K is highly unlikely unless of course the car has extremely high kilometers. But with so little 5MT released and only one model released I can't see them being that cheap. Just trying to tell you realistically...too many of you think everything is a bargain. I've said it before well maybe not in this forum, what you pay is what you get! If your paying 1+ Mil for an early Stagea then you can reasonably say the oddometer readings is legit, along with the complete log books. Series 2 also had the 280ps NEO RB25DET dropped in, which is why we picked up a '99 at the auctions. Earlier ones only had 235ps.
  22. Nope there are alot of low mount manifolds available here in J-land. I don't know the others off the top of my head but there are at least 8 makers that have low mounts manifold for RBs. HKS and Veilside being the popular ones have them for sure and also with external wastegate too for HKS, not sure on the Veilside ones. As for which is the largest turbo can you fit...any size can be made to fit...even T88.
  23. There is already a thread on it in the Japan section...do a search. Good luck finding a manual...they only made 11% of them in manual. If you were lucky enough to buy a manual early it was cheaper when new... Because of this my mate recently bought a RS Four V 5AT...'99, Grade 5, 32,000km, with Nismo parts...2Mil Yen $25K complied...must be a shitter or you dreaming. I've seen a few around the country already here asking for $50K.
  24. Sorry I couldn't help but notice the similarity to a E6 TME front bar, but it is a nice front bar. Also similar to a Evo front bar made by: -HKS Kansai. -Cruise-power. and -Cecil sports which is fitted on the JUN Evo and GForce drag car. Bah everyone is copy everyone these days.
  25. old thread given life... TommyKaira has indeed been sold off but not to a pommy company. Both founders are also working for new owners, Autobacs 7. It has been sold off for quite a while now.
