Looks like babys are popping out left, right and central this yr When are your tyres going to be bald matt:), i need some 275/40/17's to see if i can jam them under this 31 or i will probally mini tub it:) cheers darren
  2. thats awesome power, sounds way, way, way to good to be true cheers darren
  3. for the fact there is no nat's, It was meant to be secret, but the organises have put it up on the net now so it doesn't matter Madaz:thanks for the insite into your life:) cheers ]darren

You can enter the car park from either main north road or pt wakefield so take your pick. Starting at 5.30 PM.......... Tell all your fellow peeps and see you soon......... Cheers Carol
  5. Rotaries have MUCH higher exhaust gas temps then a piston motor, so looking on that forum is not going to help you:) cheers darren
  6. That's exactly what i was going to write but didn't know if it would read write, At 100km i only went back to second and bang into stop to stop wheelspin, but it felt like it stopped pulling hard at 160km I had exactly the same problem with our 1.5L turbo rolla years ago with 4.44, then went to 3.9 and it was a weapon, the problem there also was worse, revs would rise faster than boost in 1st gear as it woudn't load the motor up enough, It feels exactly the same with the RB30 even though i can see it has fullboost at 4250rpm in first. I guess with 4.11's it fells revvy, but with 3.45 it pulls/feels torquey wheel spin is tamed down a fair bit, still spins all the way through second on low boost but you can also feather the throttle which you coudn't do with the 4.11's, the whole car felt like you were pushing/pulling it, highly annoying. If i had a R32 i would putting the tallest ratio i could get with a RB30 in it. Changes the car, defibitly for the better So bang a 3540 .82 on it and gets some diff gears:) Oh yeah totally agree with disco on the torque of the Rb25/20, i might upset people aswell, but i can not stand them, they both feel like 4cyl to me compared to the 30, and a big turbo makes them worse, and i have driven plenty stock and with big turbos cheers darren
  7. I just went back from 4.11 to VL turbo 3.45's and really noticed no difference in normal driving, But obviously was a lot nicer on the freeway. Actually feels a lot faster on boost aswell, i think bigger capacity turbo motors like gearing, IMHO, 4.11 and 4,44 are to short for a RB30 motor, they don't rev hard enough . If you are using a twin cam Rb30 the 3540 .82 is quite linear in it's delivery with poncams, compared to the single cam motor, i would just use that. cheers darren
  8. Prices vary from $1000 upwards, but it was easier for me as i have a RB30 with GTR sard injectors etc, so all i am changing is exhaust manifold, and will put my Throttle body on the end of the 26 plenum and change the crank angle sensor wiring plug. Working out the maths it is lot easier and cheaper in the end with cams than doing the 25 head. cheers darren
  9. I solved the problem...i sold my RB25 and got a RB26 head instead:) cheers darren
  10. Tyres are definitly the deciding factor, up over 300-350rwkw et drag radials or bfg drag radials would help up near 400rwkw would be mandatory cheers darren
  11. If you could just swap them over..that sounds way to easy logical but easy, i thought it would have been done hundreds of times surely new GTR lifters from nissan ain't that much cheers darren
  12. You will be very lucky to get more than 410rwkw out of the .82 housing Gt35r, the 1.06 woudn't make to much more, So To4Z or 94mm exducer Gt42., unless you use something from Precision inbetween Judging by what they say in the US, the twin 2835 kit sounds laggy for the power it makes. cheers darren
  13. The story might be B.S I just like the bit at the end, contact us anytime....how do you do that??? Now one can ever get a reply back so what';s the point???
  14. if you are talking nm at the wheels, 700-800nm is never going to happen with any Rb. 300rwkw is fun but's gets boring, 378rwkw is fun for now,640nm of torque cheers darren
  15. Yep the N1 pump with no oil restrictors fills up a oil catch can in no time Isn't he using a T04Z???,don't know cheers darren
  16. Yep , they are the ones, that's why i thought you could still get them, give them a call maybe???
  17. Poncams work well with a 3540 on a Rb30/25 motor. Tomei sell a solid lifter conversion and type B valve spring kit to go with there 270 procams. I am guessing but would like to know aswell, if you buy Tomei solid conversion it should open the Rb25 head up to use all aftermarket Rb26 cams in theory. cheers darren Edit:don't Tomei sell there solid lifter conversion anymore,,,aaarrgghh, who else does it??, makes it cheaper to buy a RB26 head then
  18. Everyone is used to reading poncams, they must have skimmed over the procam bit cheers
  19. Yep find out on the 8th, doesn't matter though as ANDRA have dropped out and there is no advertising so it will be lame. We blew 2nd gear in the box on the w/e so i probally won't race anyway cheers darren
  20. There would be hundreds and hundreds of vlt's that would beat you Knowing lots of people at holdens and knowing there second job's are meth dealing and dope growing, i somehow still don't see Japanese industrial workers being that bad cheers darren
  21. I'm coming i reckon cheers darren
