3k to fix power steering leak and coil overs leak BAHAHAHAHHA wtf who the f**k was that through WOW, mate simple before taking the car back for reinspection degrease it down and then take it back. they will only fail you on a leak if they see it.
i know this thread is f**ken old as, But if you (ellie) where not meaning to be rude then why the f**k talk down to the fella asking the question in the first place?, clearly he was curious and wanted some insight, just becuase you work in the field and "know it all" doesnt mean other people know and understand what happens and why. So to a person who doesnt know and wanted some insight be a lot f**king nicer you repugnant f**k!
another way to do it which maybe a little easier is to locate the fuse in the engine bay, cut and solder 2 wires to each end on the wire you cut and run them through to your dash, where by you install the switch again, i literally took 10mins to do and works a treat.
mate legend thanks alot, did get the pump working just recently and bleeding well but the dash light is still on, thinking i still have air in the system would this be the case???
monty you will need the intire under body driveline, hubs, frames, shafts, swaybars, struts, diffs, etc its a costly exercise mate btter off buying an awd car like the gts4 and growing from there
ffs the cost of converting the gts4 to rwd is ridiculous. Just get the friggin awd box leave out the front drive shaft and you will have 2wd, awd box is $800 and will handle same amount of power as rb25 box without front driveshaft. I know i own a gts4. And in future if u want an rb26 engine in and awd just chuck the front shaft back in. Another option is if you want 2wd/4wd install a kill switch on the fuse hit it and car will be in 2wd mode. Turn it off car back in 4wd mode with leavibng the shaft in all together. f**k modifying shit like that if you dont need to. Simple if it aint broken dont TRY and fix it.
