This happened to one of my friends a few years ago, except he was the one at fault. He was sent qoutes from the other guy, but my friend couldn't afford to pay, so he was sent letters of demand, and finally it ended in court. My friend lost the case and had to pay, but because he showed he couldn't afford it, and in doing so would cause finacial hardship to him, the magistrate ordererd that he be able to pay it off at a set rate to the other party.

What is the criteria that needs to be met, to make an official sau event, be it a trackday or social style event? obviously it needs to have a good chance of being finaccially viable, and it would need to go though the sau committe. but what about insurance, what are the requirements there, and anyother requirements apart from help to make a day official? I'm just curious, so that better suggestions may be given, if understood what is involved.

what about booking Mount panorama for an event like a hill climb. The booking form on there website has some prices and they don't seem to bad. I don't know what extra charges there would be like council charges etc, but maybe that might be another venue. http://mount-panorama.com/bookings/circuit

I think a swap meet would be good, you could combine a swap meet with the texi day. Maybe charge a small price to sell. I would like to see more cruise destinations, tech nights, just more social events. for example bbq cruise, drive in nights, maybe even a bullrun road rally style event. Maybe an sau raffle, might help raise some funds. also what about a trackday club. you could setup an account like paypal, and have people pay into it weekly, so that that way they have prepaid before booking a trackday.

Its a good idea, there needs to be a nsw for sale section, it would make it easier, as everytime I find something I want it ends up being in a different state,and the postage costs end up making it not cost effective, and I usually perfer to pickup the bits, to see them first

check your rego papers to see if an inspection is needed, I didn't need one on my series 1 r33 because it was complianced in 2007 and is classed as 2007 model to the rta, so fell into the new car rule of not needing an inspection for 5 years, so you may only need to get your green slip

I had a 9inch diff sent from Brisbane to Katoomba, I used Pack and Send, they picked up, Packed and delivered to my door over night, it cost me $240 with insurance, I know brisbane isn't melbourne, but maybe try them.

It was a very enjoyable day, car made it all the way which is a bonus, except my hicas light has come on now. Lunch was great, the coffee place was nice, and it seems everyone had a great day. Thats where I'm heading to. Took the car to the mechanic this morning, and he found the TPS and base idle were out of adjustment and a faulty o2 sensor, so he seems to think the pump is ok and it was the ECU going haywire , so I've changed the o2 sensor and it seems ok touch wood.

thats it!. It will be like a Mclaren pitstop lol , It seems fine now, fuel pressures holding, and hasn't missed a beat since cleaning it, so hopefully it will be all good until I get the new pump on monday.

Guildford west. I've got it running after cleaning the pump out so I'm back in! Luke are you meeting everyone at the ettomogah or heading straight to there, I ask because would you be able to bring the pump as a 'just in case" for me?
