  1. The reg and tune then I think. Fuel pump shouldn't be a problem if the other 2 things are ok
  2. Ancient Japanese saying.. the nail that sticks out gets hammered...c/o Tokyo drift.
  3. Not sure mate but a tune should be able to work it out. My old carby ap5 had the same problem and used to foul the plugs all the time until I sorted the over fueling with a fuel reg and carby jets. It was a petrol engine though. Diesels might be more sensitive to over fueling I think.
  4. Tune or Fuel reg. If it has one. Maybe a case of over fueling when you come off throttle.
  5. Final drive ratio is all dependant on where you revs are at when you pass the line. You will work it out when you hit the strip.
  6. Much nicer to drive on the street too. Congrats on the build. Shot of nos for the strip is worth thinking about.
  7. THIS.no need to spend 20grand on a built rb30 when the 2jz motor will take up to 700whp on stock internals, absolute torque monsters Won't last for long though
  8. Congrats and welcome. BTW 33s are the best model. Ha ha. Post some pics so we can admire it.
  9. Luke if those pictures don't convince you nothing will. Automotive artistry.
  10. Exactly. Before you launch you should load up the drive train so there is tension and nothing is slack. As iplen said. What I do is get the clutch to the point when feel the car moving, put the hand brake on after it moves slightly. Rev to 5k on a stock motor and slip the clutch slightly and release the hand brake and clutch at the same time. No crashing or clunking. Might wear the clutch a bit but rather that than breaking something. Cheers.
  11. supra End of discussion. 2 + 2, insane looks and motor and drive train. 350 only 2 seater; r34 is not in this class.
  12. box of tissues thanks
  13. I own a R32 GT-R personally. But I can see your line of thinking - because the R33 is widely considered to be ugly too. Never heard the styling of the R33 and good taste mentioned in the same sentence. Every time I see a 34 I complain to God for giving me the gift of sight.
  14. Ha ha. I find the r34 fugly. R32 classic lines, r33 good taste plus classic lines (supra-like style), r34 wtf were they thinking. Just sharing
  15. If people can't fit in the back seats they can walk. Get the supra.
  16. Supra all the way. Good looking, strong engine, strong drive train. 2 different classes of car.
  17. Wow 1 hour of track work on standard rotors. I reckon they did ok!
  18. http://www.autotecnica.com.au/stormguard-full-waterproof-car-cover I have been using this one for 5 years. Very happy with it. Has vents to circulate air so it doesn't get damp with high humidity.
  19. I would mount a small shift light in the centre air vent. That way no one can see it instead of drilling a hole in your cluster surround.
  20. Congrats mate and welcome to the journey. What's on your mind with mods?
  21. Awesome mate make sure you post up your time and mph. When are you heading out?
  22. Good stuff mate. That's the best way to do it. Everything else healthy?
  23. Dash sold pending Payment. Coil packs $120 Intercooler $100
  24. If you really want to learn about RB turbo R&D I would ask these guys before you post anymore garbage. Or these guys They have have so much knowledge that it would make you head explode. And it's all based on 20 years of real life R&D. When they talk you listen because 5mins with them teach you more than the years crap that you think you already know.
  25. Heard my name mentioned. Just get your gases out as fast as you can AFTER they have been used by the turbo charger....YOU DO NOT WANT BACK PRESSURE HERE PERIOD. Exhaust manifold design is what governs turbine behavior and that is all you want to affect the turbo...After the turbo, gasses do nothing, they are waste and if you don't get rid of them fast enough they will effect the turbo's performance in a NEGATIVE way....NEVER IN A POSITIVE WAY...NEVER. MY RECOMMENDATION IS: Speak to an RB workshop that do this for a living and have done all the R&D on multiple setups to know exactly what you need.
