  1. Get your e85 setup done first and sort the fuel side of things and go for a proper tune on your -5's you will be quiet suprised at the results. As nismoid said I cant justify spending that much money for a whole new turbo + single turbo manifold + gate to change to something that will net you an extra 40kw at most. If I was in your shoes and going for a big single when Im already sitting at the low 400kw mark I would shoot for 500+ and dont expect blistering quick response, otherwise the twins will keep you more than happy. Also what clutch and box are you running? Budget for this as well, especially the gearbox as OEM item's arent generally happy getting smashed at 8000rpm when your motor is making more than twice the power it came out of factory.

  3. This. When you consider you can get a Tomei Sump Baffle and a Oil Restrictor together for $300 you would be silly not to do this as a minimum. Such a cheap mod that goes such a long way
  4. Just buy a harness that goes into your ignition module. From memory Just Jap sells them
  5. I would still have the crank looked over and linished and balanced if necessary. Ohh and welcome to the fun and expensive world of owning a GTR ! lol
  6. Thats very unfortunate mate sucks when things like this happen. Might as well go forged pistons at the very minimum while the motor is all out imo accompanied with new water + oil pumps, oil restrictor and a sump baffle as you would be silly not to. I remember when doing mine I had the car dropped the car off Saturday morning, picked it up 2 and a half weeks later with all machining, assembly done and few other goodies I dropped off installed and a retune. A year later my car is still going hard and pulling rather respectable power figures with no issues and the motor runs beautifully. If you want details etc shoot me a PM I will be more than happy to give you some more info Ps. Why on earth would you make your GTR a daily, thats just asking for trouble lol !

  8. No, mean that in the sense that they are an affordable sports car and that you will see every Tom, Dick and Harry driving every time you go out. Hopefully not too many rich P platers get their hands on these and rice them up with their 20" Chromies and supercheap/repco exhaust tips.
  9. Lol tell me about it from forged rebuild, to turbos, to wheels, to body work.. Its the reason why I will develop grey hairs in my late 20's !

  11. Before you roll your eyes, no this is not another oil question lol.. Basically I am having trouble selecting 2nd gear in my R34 GTR and it feels like there is something blocking it from going entirely in if that makes sense? It doesnt always occur and mainly happens at low RPM's. At higher RPM's and if im giving it abit of throw when putting it into 2nd it goes in fine. With the car turned off and playing around with the shifter it does exactly the same thing also. Once in gear however it holds through boost fine, doesnt come back out into neutral and makes 0 crunching noise or any other noise for that matter - pretty much drives 100% like it should. The only problem is actually getting the bloody thing in gear ! Obv my first step is going to be to flush the fluid however I am worried that there is a deeper issue at hand. Any help/tips/suggestions ?? Cheers

  15. Should get a relatively easy 340kw / 455whp out of it. Have a look at the RB26 Dyno Thread as the other guys have suggested and get your self a good tuner !
  16. As titled states. Located in Sydney and would prefer pick up however delivery is fine as long as their properly packaged to avoid any damage during transit. Headlights must be in immaculate condition with no scratches or imperfections. Cheers

  18. I am 99% certain that all you need is a blue slip, engineering is only required if the guy issuing the blue slip doesnt want to pass you as the vehicle is non compliant etc. In that case... Did someone say dodgy blue slip
  19. Just drop exhaust before the muffler. Undo 2 bolts, push pipe aside. Free screamer pipe ftw ??
  20. I cant help but get the feeling that this is a troll thread lol.. 500HP out of the standard ceramics?? You have a motor thats just shat it self and will need a replacement motor or rebuilt costing thousands and your skimping on a $300 fuel pump.. Cool
