Custom Er34 / Bnr34 Hid Headlights
Watchamacallit replied to EvoXenoN's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Steve - that's some epic stuff there. I was debating attempting something like this but had no idea if I could find someone adept at doing it - think that solves that problem Will be eager to see how these look mounted up. Got them working with any tilt sensors or just aligned/calibrated once?- 57 replies

That looks really good. I may have to do some XMas shopping for the 2nd gf... Where did you source the UV protectant? -

Aftermarket Radiator R33 , Whats Good ?
Watchamacallit replied to discopotato03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Has anyone been able to compare the Koyo Type-R for R34 GTRs compared to Racepace's triple pass radiator? I've emailed them a few questions regarding fitment, etc and I don't want to hassle Ash with the Qs -
Nsw Demerits For Bus Lanes Penalty Applicable To Vic License?
Watchamacallit replied to lethargica's topic in New South Wales
Liverpool and Bathurst St do not have Bus Lanes. I am assuming with the wording that it was on George St between Liverpool and Bathurst. There is a Bus Lane camera located at the Three Wise Monkeys, corner of Livepool and George St in the direction of travel to Bathurst. -
Just Got My R34 Xenon Hid's Defected.
Watchamacallit replied to MaShi's topic in General Maintenance
The ADR states that any low/high beam lights (not "driving lights" such as used for off road) that produce more than 2000 lumens must be fitted with auto-leveling and washers. However, there appears to be a case that if the light patten falls within certain parameters (bugger me for understanding the specifics) then the auto-level and washers are not needed. So while the 2nd requirement seems an easier option, good luck actually performing the tests, etc. Personally - I have looked at retrofitting washers and leveling sensors, though as an individual it's a lot of $$$ to outlay. -
Beware - R34 Gtr For Sale In Sydney
Watchamacallit replied to R31Nismoid's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Holy crap... Keen eye there Nismoid and quick thinking. I'm agreeing with Ricky, photos are clearly photoshopped. Wish there was legal power around this type of behaviour - especially if the car is no longer what it was in Japan. -
Tried searching within the forums (and some on the internets) without much luck. Has anyone used any of the Liqui Moly products? Also a question for the guys running 300V - are these being run in street cars? I'm curious on the level of detergents as internet "research" indicates it's more a race oil relying on regular oil changes to prevent build ups and coatings.

I'd recommend State Roads for a pre-purchase inspection before flying out. I've used them before in the past, as well as other friends, and you get a very comprehensive report. Not to mention finding inconsistencies with engine/chassis numbers, etc, etc. http://stateroads.com.au/
