I picked up a 1200kg jack and 4 chassis stands from Autobarn about a month ago for like $90 for the lot. Jack works perfectly piss easy to setup and use.

I might go out for a bit of a drive. Thursday night everyone goes to the harbour, but there's usually a strong police presence just past mossies BP and on forgan bridge and they come down around the harbour too so don't do anything silly! It's usually just the bogans in commodores and falcons though.

A lot of the blokes do the FIFO. From what i've heard the rosters are pretty good you can choose from a variety but i guess it depends on the individual. I don't know a lot about the mines but i do talk to many miners each week being in the 4X4 and Commercial industry. I have a mate that's 19 does 5 on 5 off and makes $2500 a week driving a dump truck and he loves it!

G6E turbo FOR SURE. I used to work for FORD and absolutely loved driving these around, very comfortable and has all the safety and technology you need. Also at the same time it's a very good looking and respectable car, then once you punch it you poo your pants. They have a lot of power and look stunning. Damn if i still worked for FORD i'd sell you one and deliver it to you!

Each to their own, been a fan of hard dance since i was a 14 yr old hektik sydney gabber lad. Not really but i love the music. I do like a lot of bass but not like windows rattling and doors falling off hinges bass.. i don't drive around going doof doof doof. I'm not looking for ears bleeding, i just want nice crystal clear bass with a good quality brand at a good price

There's loads of work up here but it's a shit town to live in, the only attraction is the pubs and titty bar. The mines up here certainly do not seem to be slowing down, if anything some of them are getting bigger. Jobs won't be slowing down up here for a long time to come.

Nah mate, i sell cars to loaded miners though FIFO is pretty huge up here, hard lifestyle though i wouldn't want to do it even though the money is insane.

Damn, i am impressed. Tony we've been through this! it's impossible for me to get down there for that cruise, nor would i have the money for my full sound setup. Even if i did have the money, it'd take 3 weeks to get my JDM dash and head unit. Maybe when i do decide to go ahead with it i can organise a drive down to get it installed, but i will only do that if i can't find someone that can do a great job locally (chances of that are slim to 0) And thanks for the offer of hospitality!
