  1. Not going to lie i didn't read any of the previous posts in this thread i replied to it while i was at work, Prado's are amazing, i love driving the 2010's at work too bad the price tag is out of range.
  2. Ah true, well my new rims are 20x8.5 f 20x10 r + 25 all round.
  3. You will love it. I'm even thinking about top speed hks rep with magnaflow x pipe and test pipes. God damnn that'd sound mean. But end up costing well over 1k getting it modified and fitted
  4. Not always.. Motordyne Shockwave TDX V2 with ART pipes costs close to $2500 delivered and it has fitment issues (so i've heard from 2 blokes that have it) but i do get where you're coming from. Also i guess in the social side of things it would be better to tell your mates you have a "real HKS" exhaust or real anything for that matter. But in reality, it doesn't matter. Knock off's and genuine exhausts are that similar it's not worth paying double the money. I personally wouldn't give a f*ck telling people "yeah i've got a top speed HKS rep exhaust with a magnaflow x pipe" (for example) when that exhaust sounds SICK.
  5. i'm going from 18s to 20s Alright Cal thanks for that man, i'll research it a bit better and hopefully i don't have to do it because i wouldn't have a clue who can do it for me.
  6. I was watching the new episode from Mighty Car Mods last night regarding to speedo adjustment for when you buy new wheels- I have nearly got my new springs/rims/tyres/camber kit and i was curious, once i install all of this is my speedo going to be out of whack with the different rolling diameter? I'm looking at going 275 R 245 F atm i have stock wheels im pretty sure front is 225 and rear is 245. If so, where do i go to get my speedo adjusted? Thanks
  7. I think we all know you will go for the Exotic Speed Heard it sounds sick with that Y pipe.
  8. Yeah, there's a few Skylines up here but 80% of them aren't on this forum and think that forums are "gay" Our import club meets usually have 10-15 cars mostly Supra's, Skylines and Silvia's
  9. 6'1 and i weigh 83kg. Fair enough being that big you may find it uncomfortable, but i assure you everyone else that owns one of these that is smaller than you will only have good things to say about the seating. Can i just say this reply is hard to read too.. I love the R and V series Skylines, shit the R34 GTR is still a dream car of mine.
  10. I sure do miss Newy, seems to be a huge Skyline community down there!
  11. This was a good read, i look forward to seeing how this pans out. I strongly agree with most of the comments regarding dressing well in a suit, black, and a tie. Definitely be punctual and well mannered, judging by your comments in this thread you seem like an educated bloke so go in there and f*ck shit up. Goodluck!
  12. To answer the OP's question, like i said before definitely post a topic in the V-Series Skylines section you will receive a good amount of information on the 350GT's. I also think it might be difficult for you to find one exactly as you have mentioned as a lot of these cars are Premium models. The good: They are powerful and reasonably priced cars, 206KW at the fly stock. They are very attractive cars, attracts attention as a big population of people don't know what they are. Very modern in terms of accessories and features. the bad: they aren't cheap to buy parts, servicing is an issue as most places don't like to touch them, insurance is through the roof, suspension bushes are shit from stock and need replacing pretty fast. I can think of a lot more things to mention but i'm at work and can't give a fully detailed post at this point in time
  13. 3.0L Turbo Diesel Manual Prado /end thread
  14. What are you doing over this part of town, interested in moving to Mackay?
  15. It's heavy on fuel subject to how you drive it.. i get around 500-600km to a tank city driving. They are VERY comfortable cars, i have the premium pack with leather interior and i'm 6'1 and i could almost fall asleep driving they are that good. And cheaper on insurance, that all depends on the individual, your comments are very biased..
  16. Just beware you need to buy a JDM double din facia dash in order to fit an aftermarket sound system- http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-INFINITI-NISSAN-SKYLINE-G35-DOUBLE-DIN-DASH-KIT-DUAL-ZONE-AC-CONTROL-/251142407258?_trksid=p4340.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222001%26algo%3DSIC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D11%26meid%3D1818557018950828729%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D1005%26rk%3D1%26
  17. Oh f*ck yeah that's a tidy 300zx. Don't see many clean ones getting around these days, most of the ones i see are old and red and driven by elderly men.
  18. Dat KFC. Haha i know people that say that too.
  19. Hahaha walked right into that one Tony!
  20. First bit of advice, buy one WITH premium it's definitely worth the extras trust me. There are a few boosted guys in the V-Series Skylines section, post a topic in there. You can find a mint black manual for around $20,000 mark STOCK. Turbo kits are $5,000+
  21. I can't tell if you're seriously trying to help this twit, he's like 14
  22. Where do you live mate? Yeah i've only ever been pulled up once for an RBT and got complimented by the female officer (she just wanted my penis) but i guess if i had an obnoxious exhaust and was low as f*ck it might not have been a compliment, rather a defect
  23. Baaah who needs 2 extra doors when my back seats have MORE than enough space... just kidding it's so f*cking uncomfortable in the back. Meh, it's stock outside i have Eibach springs that have just landed in Australia and i should have my Vertini 20's by the end of next week fingers crossed then i will post another pic
