  1. Kat, where did you get your carbon deflector and how much?
  2. Yeah i hear ya mate lol.
  3. Any reason you decided not to paint the interior blue as well? Or purely cost related?
  4. Robbie, i mentioned this to you on the weekend, but if this goes through, put me down for one for sure.
  5. Love that shade man. Cant wait to see it rollin!!!
  6. location?
  7. Where are you and the items located? Does that price include shipping?
  8. Go on..... do it..... you know you wana lol. You know these are the shiz when they use them on GrandAm race cars. Plus they havent even been used yet. Save yourself a few grand and the wait.
  9. Or could maybe customize the rear indicators. Change to led but have the reverse lights in led as well incorporated into the indicators. That way, still keep twin tail lights and remove the lower reverse lights for the plates to fit. Hey, i might have to patent that and make me some cash on the side to fund my build lol.
  10. Fairy nuff. See in NSW we dont get those pretty covers with ours either, unless you source some yourself. Plus if I ever want to sell them, I can always go to the RTA, say the rear plate was damaged and have it replaced and then sell them Also i would think that no reverse lights = defect?
  11. If they are anything like the width of a NSW plate (white with black writing, standard width), they require a little bit of a trim (about 6-8mm) to fit between the reverse lights without bending them. Thats what I did on mine and you cant even tell.
  12. Nah man, the stock ones have the power wire and earth through the bracket (IIRC). The Astra ones have a different plug, and have a power and earth line, so make sure when you get them from a wrecker, ask for the plugs as well. What I did was make up a bracket to hold the horns (obviously), cut the old plugs off (one wire), soldered the power wire to the appropriate line on the astra plugs, then extended the earth lines on the astra plugs and earthed them using a ring terminal where I bolted the new horn bracket on. Pretty simple, didnt even have to change a fuse or anything. Works a treat.
  13. I got rid of mine from my R32 GTR (they wouldn't scare a fairy) and replaced them with holden astra dual horns. Now so loud farkin!!!
  14. Personally i would stay with a single. Less things to go wrong, easier to work on like HKS26T said. Plus if something does go wrong with twins, its so much more of a pain in the ass to diagnose the problem. If you are worried about lag, with a track car you wont be spending much time under 3000rpm, and yes even at higher rpms, there will still be a slight delay with power coming on, but you can compensate by accelerating just that little bit earlier so that boost is on strong as you exit the corner. Besides, if your setup is tuned correctly (which by the build, im assuming it is) lag should be kept to a minimum anyway.
  15. Very nice.... shame there is only 1 photo.
  16. Brad, sent you a PM.
  17. Ive done a bit of googling and i can find 3" but not 3.5". Ill see if i can find a few aeromotive fabricators and put the hard word on them.
  18. Hello knowledgeable SAUers. Was looking at having a Titanium Dump pipe made up for my car. Currently undergoing a single turbo conversion with a precision 6266 with 3" v-band flange. Have a 3.5" titanium exhaust coming from the uk, however it comes with a 2 bolt flange to the cat. I want to remove all the bolted flanges and replace with V-Band setup. What i wanted to know is: Are V-Band flanges and clamps available in titanium in 3" and3.5"? Does anybody know where I can get some? Does anybody know a great titanium welder/fabricator in the wollongong/sydney region to do this? Cheers Damo
  19. Yeah mate, Had Trust T517Z twin low mounts (pretty sure 10cm) Remapped standard ecu Adjustable cams gears Tomei Poncams Type B Head had slight work done Nismo 660cc injectors HKS 2.5" dumps Unknown 2.5" to 3" front pipe 100 cell cat unknown 3" cat back with twin mufflers (nice and quiet, barely hear it idle) All running 20psi on 98ron
  20. Before my 32 GTR went in to have work done, it was making 320awkw and it had 2.5" dumps and fronts, metal cat and 3" cat back. So 350awkw shouldnt be a problem.
