  1. Alphas are gay, you should both hand your man cards in......
  2. Just say no to vertical videos.
  3. Hey i notice that you ramp your timing quite nicely... i found with the 0.82 rear i've been able to add more timing earlier to get up on power earlier.... i'll post a pic of my latest timing table on 98. i'm loving this thread i'm thinking of running e85, i'm all setup for it. I have a datalogit and powerfc as well. as for the latency corrections i've found that the corrections if wrong a heard at idle, they are not precise from the injector manufacturer and its best to have a little play with the latency correction at idle and listen for it to be 'happy/smooth'.
  4. This is another forum members setup that I copied.
  5. I'll take a better picture when I get home so you can see the join
  6. Scotty here on the forums might be best to answer this... I had a really good fabricator to it for me.

  8. the most optimal angle to not impede 'flow' i've attached a snipet from turbosmarts installation guide.
  9. sorry i should've said atmo bov, because that what i was talking about, what factory bov have you seen that is adjustable?? factory bovs are gay...because they leak. lol....
  10. lol yep totally gay...so many people hate them....well Australians seem to....the rest of the world doesn't have a problem. and no bov just means the air gets measured twice, once on the way in and once on the way out by the AFM. bov don't leak at idle...and if they do they are either rooted of spring pressure is too slack.
  11. he doesn't need to ditch the BOV for a standard one...unless he lives in certain ozzy states? it just runs richer for that split second you are changing gears with a atmo BOV.
  12. have you checked for vacuum leaks? is it possible all that carby cleaner disolved some of the intake gasket(s)?
  13. if you are going to change injectors then just buy some decent sized ones...gtr ones are an upgrade until you need to upgrade them again....do it once do it right.
  14. You want to do all that shit with a smic.... You need your head read.
  15. yeah scored my powerfc for the gtr for $400nzd. scored 2 x rb25 afms for $80 for both.... MAF's are far easier to tune with rather than doing tuning across different corrections.e.g map & tps + air temp.etc.
  16. the turbo itself shouldn't be a reason to ditch the powerfc....and with that turbo you probably won't max out a Z32 Afm. It really depends what your goals with your car are. the tuning resolution on PFC is 20x20 not 16x16 the newer ECU's do have more features as the others have already mentioned so these should be considered for your future planning, but for what you currently have you don't need to change ECU yet.
  17. the SAE standard for biofuels is a minimum of SAE 30r9 ....submersive fuel hose is SAE 30r10. its expensive but good for piece of mind. it has an additional impermiable layer on the inside....don't worry too much about the hose being metal braided unless its in the engine bay where foreign flying objects could cut fuel hose.
  18. with the 255 you shouldn't need to...i run a dw300 on stock wiring.
  19. water to air intercooler box?
  20. these should be like anything really, they make the bloody things and have to pressure test them but can't share the results of the pressure drop nor cooling efficiency...instead they leave it up to the garage modifier to figure it out....
  21. Disco potatoe?
  22. make sure your exhaust is supported by more than the manifold. check your fuel pressure is good...this glowing red hot thing isn't good. Just get the manifold surface machined flat. I used a cometic multilayer steel gasket had no problems since.
