  1. Yes - bushes, ball joints & control arms are the same as 350z. Look for stuff from the US - they have G35s & 350Zs by the thousands. ConceptZ Performance would be a good starting point - http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/items.php?Car_Type=NIS350&car_cat=Suspension&CA=36&UID=20140422035916203.122.224.112
  2. The ball joints look like the right ones. Note that the ball joints are in the hub, not in the control arm. When I replaced one I removed the hub from the car, and took it to a suspension place to press the ball joint out & the new one in. I tried to do it myself but couldn't get it to move. If you are doing the bushes I would also replace the ones that the bottom shock mount attaches to - Whiteline W52992 - as you already have the control arm out & will need a wheel alignment. If you don't have a press you'll have to pay someone to remove & refit. If you replace the whole arm it will come with all the bushes fitted, so you don't need to buy them separately. I'd be a bit sus about the control arms you linked to - they are way too cheap & definitely won't be OEM. I'd hate to see one break at speed.
  3. Yes - see http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/435021-is-this-a-gmb-waterpump/?hl=%2Bwaterpump#entry7112008
  4. Had a reply from GKTech about the alloy spacers - The alloy shims are for S chassis cars to space the caliper out

Rotors measured at front - 31.8mm, rear - 19.95 mm
  7. An Akebono Big Brake Kit for a V35, V37, 350Z or 370Z - kit includes front & rear Akebono calipers (4 pot / 2 pot), alloy caliper mounting brackets & bolts (required for V35 / 350Z), front & rear slotted stoptech rotors, front & rear stoptech street pads with plenty of life, front & rear EBC Yellowstuff track pads with plenty of life, and front & rear braided brake lines. The calipers are red powder-coated with Nissan badging (they are also available with Infinity badging - but mine are Nissan). New replacement price on these components is around $2500 - (BBK with street pads $2000 delivered, Yellowstuff F&R pads $400, Braided lines $120). I only got to use these brakes at Malalla once, but they were fantastic, allowing much later braking and no fade at all after 6 or more hot laps. Note that the front calipers have had a very small amount of alloy removed to fit under stock 18" rims, and the bare area was then repainted with red high-temp brake pain. These brakes also look fantastic on the car - the rotors are massive. I am after $1500 for the lot, plus shipping. A pair of hydraulic struts for a 350GT (actually they are 350Z ones but also fit a 350GT) - $50 plus postage. They are about 6 months old, and include all parts needed to install. Installation takes a couple of minutes per side. A single Whiteline front lower control arm to shock bush (not a pair, just 1 bush to fit 1 side of the car - long story) - part number is W52992 (but only half the kit...) $20 plus postage Photos available on request.
  8. Bump - these swaybars will make your 350GT handle much better. happy to pack for courier collection or send via E-Go at cost.
  9. Brake pads still for sale - these are great for the street & occasional track work - make me an offer: EBC Redstuff DP31636C front brake pads for 350GT / 350Z - brand new in box. I bought front & rear redstuff pads from the UK, and ordered a spare set of fronts. These will also suit some Stageas. $75
  10. I have a second-hand key - looks just like yours & is from a 2003 350GT coupe. I have no idea if the chip & remote buttons can be re-programmed to a different car - I'll let you work that out. If you are interested you can have my key for $25 plus postage - I'm in SA. The car is gone (written off).
  11. I have a question for the guys who have fitted these brackets. Included in the kit are 4 alloy shims/spacers - approx 3.5mm thick. What are these for, and where do they go? Have only test fitted at this stage, and haven't ground the calipers. It looks like the caliper could move towards the outside of the car slightly to centre it on the rotor, but only 1-2 mm, not 3.5mm.
  12. The only time mine came on was when I was about to run out of petrol - but I don't know what's needed for it to work or if it can be turned on & off. Try running the tank really low.
  13. How much does one pay for replica recaros Probably depends a bit on whether you know it's a replica when you buy it, or find out later
  14. Thanks. So I wonder if we've got GTR calipers, or if someone has squeezed 32mm rotors into GTST calipers. Anyone know the sumitomo caliper part numbers, or another way to id them? Regardless, I've ordered some 30mm GTR rotors.
  15. Cas connecror
  16. Desperately need a cad connecror for rb25 in barossa or nth suburbs today - belt broke at collingrove and took connector with it. 0418841730 if you can help.
  17. 350GT / 350Z Front lower control arm ball-joint, brand new. I bought 2 of these from the US, and fitted one to my 350Gt to replace a loose one. The other side was still ok, so I didn't use the second new one. $40 Sold Whiteline W83389 front compression/radius rod bushes - brand new in unopened bag. These are a pair (ie both sides) of the front compression rod to body bush. I bought them brand new to fit to my 350GT, but didn't get around to it. $80 Sold EBC Redstuff DP31636C front brake pads for 350GT / 350Z - brand new in box. I bought front & rear redstuff pads from the UK, and ordered a spare set of fronts. These will also suit some Stageas. $75 Ryco Z445 oil filter - brand new in box. Free to the first person to buy anything else. Gone Stagea front chassis brace - this is DaleO's front chassis brace for a Stagea - hasn't been fitted but a couple of very small paint chips from handling, includes fitting bolts $75 Sold Local pickup, or I can post at cost. Pics on request.
  18. R33 second hand radiator needed asap please text Lucas 0413733433 cheers I've got one with a broken pipe where the top hose connects but otherwise in good nick - $25 north-east area
  19. Bought a set of the GKTech caliper spacers so we can run GTR rotors on the front of our R33 GTST Series 2, wiih the stock calipers. I was trying to work out which rotors I need - obviously 324mm diameter, 5 x 114.5, 63mm bore, etc, but what thickness. Our current rotors are 296 x 32mm thick, so I assumed I needed 324 x 32mm GTR rotors. I couldn't find a part number that had these specs, only 30mm thick ones. Contacted GKTech to see what rotors they sell with the brackets, and they are RDA7701 - 324 x 30mm. They tell me that stock R33 GTST rotors should be 296 x 30mm, and they always use 324 x 30 with the brackets. Ours are 32 mm. As far as I know our calipers are stock, but GKTech say it's possible we have R32 GTR calipers & rotors. It's also possible that someone has simply fitted R32 GTR rotors with our stock calipers - fitting new pads was tight, but not overly difficult. Can anyone tell me for sure: 1. What thickness are stock R33 GTST S2 front rotors? 2. How do I tell if my calipers are R32 GTR or R33 GTST? 3. Is there a 324 x 32mm GTR rotor available? What is the part number? This is all doing my head in. Most of the manufacturers & resellers don't list rotor thicknesses. I have found conflicting info on the net, and don't know what to believe. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Geoff
  20. A few months ago we bought a second-hand 3" dump pipe to replace the stock one in our R33 GTST. We looked under the car at the old one, then looked at the one we were buying, and thought they were the same. The other day we removed the stock one, and realised that the new one was about 6" longer. As well as this, the flange that the cat bolts to is oriented different - ie rotated on the pipe so the holes don't line up. Anyone know what this pipe might be out of? It is a commercially made one, with a brand name on it (which I can't remember - pipe is not here). The turbo end mates up fine, and the pipe runs in the right place. The welded on mounting bracket at the cat end fits to the car's mounting point, but obviously the cat doesn't fit. Any ideas on the best way to make it fit, without spending a small fortune at an exhaust shop?
  21. Just to add some closure - replaced gaskets & dump bolts & everything is sweet. Not sure how long it had been leaking but it got worse during the event on Sunday. Runs beautifully now. Thanks for the help.
