Add onto that the cost of paint, painting, fitting, possible modifications needed (though if genuine east bear kit, should fit straight on) - you're looking at well....definitely over 3000$ in total, probably more, if you're getting someone to do things for you. Not to mention if you buy a car its paint will be, let's say, 13 years old already and even if you get the paint code (there's a thread for this, look for it) and get some paint made up for you, when you put it on it won't look exactly the same - hence unmatched - so if you wanted to match everything 100% then go for a full respray which by the way is in the thousands of $$$. 4. there is a buying guide here, look for it! Any more SPECIFIC, unanswered questions, feel free to ask people will be glad to help

for a start, if it has no turbo side parts then it's not going to be a DE-T unless the turbo parts were removed. apart from that, i think other people will be able to point you in some direction.

More info on whether auto/manual would have helped - though it sounds like it's an auto, especially for that price an r34 for 8500 is either an auto or a nugget manual....Oh and also because you mentioned dashboard icons, which means it's an auto (right?) because only autos have icons for gears in the dash. For the mirror you could try removing it and seeing if something is loose inside..otherwise bring it to someone who knows electronics or just buy another mirror they're about 50$ give or take, off a wreck!

# a damper is a shock (right?). A spring goes over this, making it either a spring + Damper setup OR a coilover unit. That's what I thought anyway!

indeed, most impressive thing about that pic was not the 34 it was the truck! some transformers type sh*t going on there for sure

some coilovers are easily identifiable by sight (Ohlins, Bilsteins etc) but for most Jap coils, they have a model and then variations: Cusco Zero 1,2, 2e, 2r etc etc. Best if you get us pics of your coilovers, but to do that you'd need to take the wheel off to get a decent pic anyway, so you might just find the model on! also - Owen, are you serious that's all it takes to remove a damper?!?!?

Thanks Charles on the suggestion to scrape off the paint, that's much more useful than not seeing the numbers, don't know why they had it blacked out in the first place.! PMed you. Also, this will come in handy because I just realised my TCS doesn't light up anymore.

exactly! doesn't someone have to call the towing company to notify them of a car to tow? or do they cruise around all day looking for cars to tow...? therefore, if someone told them, then that someone should also tell the owner that they've been towed!

yeah i think that's right, you had a mate in the car as well? red RS4 in eastwood last night, would say it was a lady driving it due to the hair I saw (from driving behind) and she was stepping on it! ahaha. but it looked stock as a rock and also quite a fair bit of paint fade.

haha yeah i've looked up the pics on a GTR and it's slightly different as they seem to have a mounting bracket/bar, i swear this item was advertised for a GTT when i bought it (from Japan)! quite confused. Oh well, will have a look one weekend/when i install FMIC.

I recently ordered 4 of these through Streeter, and there was none of this hassle. they cost around 20$ each.....fml but having said that i think i'll get Ebay ones next time! i have a set..and i'm contemplating whether to put them on or not =(

for those keeping an eye out, as Sam said, on the meisters the clear coat was coming off so in fact they weren't all that shiny/glossy, almost a dull silver!

HI all, recently secured myself a sim card with 1gb data, separate to the sim card i use on my mobile. My TF101 has WIFI only, but I think I'd like a tablet with 3G so i can use this data sim. So, would like to see if anyone is looking for a TF101 + Dock? I've had both since 2012. No modifications/rooting/custom firmware etc. It is on the latest version of Android (That ASUS has released). Will come with a case, the fold out ones so you can watch stuff on a table etc - it is a bit ragged though because i carry it with me to work everyday. The body itself has a few scratches here and there from being in my bag (the case has some edges exposed) - I have a screen protector on it so the screen itself is flawless. Will come with 2-3 of my spare protectors since I won't need them anymore. I also have the cable + Charger. With the fall of prices these days, I don't quite know what price to let this go for. So I'll just say $250 negotiable for everything mentioned. Feel free to PM me here Chris
