Well what can i say other than a big thanx to Pete for Organising Today...

I had a Total blast of a time and in the words of james "It was Tops!!!"

We went to the 3 different wineries and sampled (sarked down) some fantastic red and white wines... The atmosphere of all wineries improved as the day went along (surprise surprise) and the party began..

Shame the end of the day he to be the way it was with an impatient buss driver not understanding that we had to find a bus that looked the same as all other 100 that were there but not to let that put a downer on a great day...

James i think that chick next to us was grateful on many occasions when instead of her singing "your lost that lovin feeling" was blasted out and drew the attention away from her..

Again a big thanx to Team Wang for the day it was great fun…

Man what an awesome day! It all started off pretty relaxed and civilized but went down hill at a pretty steep pace thanks to some very nice wines and champagnes. The bus trip was ace, the people on the bus were a p|sser and each of the wineries was sooooo much fun but I think the finishing point was by far the best, so many drunken people and some good music! Must have been thousands of people there! The breathalyser was a bit of fun too, blew 0.095 at the first one, 0.115 and the second and god knows what at the last. Wine does some crazy stuff to guys and girls especially! There are a stack of photo’s I took, some of them…ummmm pretty interesting and just a word of warning James, be careful what pics you post because I’ve got some good ones too! :(

Big thanks to Pete for organizing this and I’ll 100% be back next year…..with Monday off mind you so we can stay longer!

For those who didn't make it, make sure your there next year!!! :)

I agree with all of the above - was an awesome day and I'll defiantely be back next year.

Thanks to everyone who came and kept me entertained for the day.

PS. I am in pain today though - next year taking the Monday off is a goer for sure!!!

    • Oh right, I didn't realise it was your car. Please do! Makes me feel better about mine. I also have a big scrape on the front left bumper where someone presumably used the wall to guide the car into a parking spot  But somehow all the funds go towards mechanical things and the cosmetics stay forever unfinished... Interesting, I don't think I have seen it before. But after seeing @PranK's rusty roofline on the BMW I'd probably leave it alone. Wouldn't want water to get in there.
    • Thanks mate, thought you might know the answer.
    • Infiniti US are teasing a manual Q50 as a way to refresh a (very old) model. https://torquecafe.com/manual-performance-sedans-arent-dead-yet/ Can't be too technically difficult given the Z has the same motor with a manual gearbox......here's hoping there is a JDM version we can import here, that would save me a world of headaches
    • It's almost certainly a reluctor generating an "AC" waveform. No, ECUs don't generally read those - they're usually set up for PWM square wave 0-5v stuff.
    • Working through possible solutions of converting my mechanical speedo.    Anyone know what type of speedo sensor the factory r34 gtr getrag has ? what the output is ? I assume its not a VSS and more a voltage like earlier speedo sensors ? Can an ECU read it ?
