i feel like having a cry. I so badly wanted to see webber in a top level car. Just for one year even to see if he could really do the business or not. now i guess we will never know if he was capable of a WDC. :)

I have officially lost interest in this soap opera!!!. Webber to Red Bull ...... oh spare me! Must be something in the Elf fuel they all sniff! As mentioned somewhere else in this post, no customer Ferrari powered car has ever won a world championship race let alone a whole championship. Same for Renault too!

AAAAAAaaaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhh it's all too much!

So all those races Senna won in the Lotus-Renault were a figment of my imagination? Damn. :)

Spook, no one is going to tell you how many points need to be gained before the performance related out can no longer be triggered. Webber never even said this is what he did to Frank, after all.

Having said that I would like to know how many years the contract is for - not that it means very much these days, just ask JV.

BTW, did any find out what the hell happenned to Christiano Da Matta. Heard something about him pole axing a dear. Oh dear.

Yeah good point but i would like to know how many years.....

and the main reasons for signing with RBR instead of Renault etc etc :)

Just going by what is posted on Webber's official site, im getting the impressing its a one year deal

markwebber.com

thats the feeling i am getting as well ??? all the articles i have found state that MW wil drive for RBR in 2007 nothing about 08 or anything else....... strange

how about this................. flav wants webber but cant let kimi slip through either.

fisi is usless as tits on a bull but has a contract for next year.

webber goes to a Renault powereed RB for a year then a clause in his contract allows him to move to Renualt "if flav still wants him" in 2008.

this leaves spot from them to still get kimi and have webber the following season.

if they had signed webber now who would have partnered him in 08 ??? no one as good as kimi i bet .

what you guys think??? :)

depends...

how long was the contract Fisi signed? wasnt it a couple years? Renault is holding on for kimi but i dont think it'll happen... Hopefully Kovelinen gets a 1 year stint at Renault and then webber moves over to take his spot IF Kovelinen doest cut the mustard.

If you remeber Fisi said that he "guarenteed" that next year he would have a Finn as a team mate... Which means If renault dont get Kimi than Kovelinen is in for sure.

Renault will be taking a massive hit in the driver market if they dont get Kimi. And with Alonso gone, nobody else really comes close to those two

Just found out that Fisi only has a one year contract extention with Renault

Giancarlo Fisichella has agreed a new deal with Renault that will keep him at the team until the end of next year. The Italian's current contract with the French outfit runs out at the end of this season but he has now penned a one-year extension........

THANK FCUKING GOD!!!!!!!!!

Webber is looking good for a 2008 Renault drive... but knowing his luck, the typical F1 life cylce will take place and Renault will suck by then

    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
