Hi everyone,

newly registered but been a keen reader for over a year. Mainly the forsale section.

Have been dreaming of a GTR for 15 years and i hopeful it will be coming very soon. Lucky at the moment with a few quality GTR's forsale in Perth.

On my way back to Perth next week from workin in Far North Queensland so thats when i'm hoping to get mine.

So is it just me or do other ppl lay awake half the night thinking about Skylines and what we can do to them. There are just an endless list of quality modifications for the skyline.

I've sent the last 5 years and a whole lotta cash (prolly one of the reasons i'm single again) modifying a Yamaha 500cc two stroke Wayne Rainey GP replica. And it still ain't finished. That used to keep me awake half the night too. Finish it one day, maybe i've got a little bored with it recently after some set backs.

Then theres my Nissan Patrol, built to be the ultimate beach basher, that's been on going for 10 years and still ain't finished. Got the small block chev in it but still some work to yet. Mainly cosmetic but still want air locking diffs for it too.

Last month brought a Suzuki 250cc two stroke Kevin Swantz GP replica, when i seen it i couldn't resist, i had to have it. That's eventually destined for a 500cc two stroke as well. That will be insane, 140hp / 130kg. Err nice power to weight ratio!!!!

Anyways look forward to seeing you all on the streets and the tracks/strips behind the wheel of a R32 GTR. I've wanted one of these since the wins at bathurst (Yes i'm old enough to have watched it live on the idiot box.)

I'm working away from Perth alot, all over Oz and all over the world. Just hope i can be in town when there are some cruises and track meets.

Just hope i can get sme sleep tonight with out thinkin bout the twin high mount turbos, maybe it will be the NOS this time.

Wow, i was totally expecting the "i just got my Ps and my parents gave me 30k that im going to sped on gtr where can i blow a sweet blow off valve?"

Sounds like deserve it m8, good luck and try not to get the modding bug too badly. Wouldnt worry about nos though, with a couple of hi mounts its going to have power on tap anyway :(

Look I'm certainly no expert when it comes to matters of the mind, although you're most probably not alone in suffering this condition I believe it's quite rare, but not necessarily cause for alarm.

anyway

Here's what I think you should do...

Women...give em a go.

Try taking one per night just before bed, you should see a change almost immediately, obviously.... if the problem persists see a doctor. :O:(:D

Good luck with the dream mate.

I got myself one of the 50 Aussie spec GTR's imported for the group A racing, nice bit of nostalgia. Recently I'd been tempted just to sell it off and buy something more practical (even posted it up in the for sale area). Changed my mind. I've started down the path of restoring the looks and mechanicals and finishing the performance package off that I have started.

I think these things are best tuned to around 400hp at the treads for a great street package. With the focus more on power delivery and response. That amount or power doesn't pose too big a threat to drivetrain damage or traction issues.

Nitrous is a alot of fun. The legality issue is a pain for road driving, you need a very modular setup to allow for quick and easy removal/ install. It's certainly one of the cheaper ways to enjoy occasional drag racing (at the motorplex) in your car.

I took the cheater way out and got a loan, but I am repaying it easily enough. I could pay more per month if I wanted...

I see this R32 GTR is up for sale AGAIN, it was up at Prestige a few months ago, maybe a year.

Low k's, Ferrari drivers seat, clean engine bay, I wonder why its so cheap :P

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
