You beat me, oh well, lucky i think i may have found an alternative to buying Stagea specific indicators.... will test fit some S14 indicators some time in the near future.

Otherwise, friend in japan it is!

are you talking bout side or front indicators alex??

as l trial fitted a set of side indicators (as in the guard ones) from a pulsar and they pretty much fit fine, am going to have a chat with OZEparts first and see what else they have. Only problem with the pulsar one's is they are an extremely tight fit and take a bit of "persuasion" to get them in.

the guard ones are from R34/Maxima also, i'm using R34 ones on my car

Yup there the same ... as to for 200sx's.

Its strange, as knowing what nissan are like basically all parts they use on cars crossover to other cars, but atm l can't think of another nissan that has the same front indicators as the stagea does.

Well i got my new lights on today. i tell you what they're a bit of a bitch for the middle ones to get off. also the plugs didn't match, so i butchered my old lights loom and put them into the new lenses. they all work fine now. My old lights are for sale in the classified section if anyone is interested

Hi mate (Terminal or anyone with advice) - I'm halfway through fitting a set of series 2 rears to mine - got the corners on no problem - removed all the trim from the hatch and undone the nuts holding on the centre lights. Are they bonded on with something 'cause I'm struggling to get the buggers off? I don't want to break anything obviously and could do with some tips on getting these off damage free. Cheers  .

Yeah they have really sticky black adhesive. i got a screwdriver under them and levered them off. it's gross stuff and gets everywhere, but as long as you have all the bolts undone it will come off with some persuasion.

Hi mate (Terminal or anyone with advice) - I'm halfway through fitting a set of series 2 rears to mine -

was wondering where you picked the set of taillights up from cos i am chasing a set to replace my cracked ones????

    • Working through possible solutions of converting my mechanical speedo.    Anyone know what type of speedo sensor the factory r34 gtr getrag has ? what the output is ? I assume its not a VSS and more a voltage like earlier speedo sensors ? Can an ECU read it ?

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
