Hello SAU members~!!

I was wondering if any one knows the part number of a/c compressor for 1992 R32 gtst or alternative compressor from other model of Nissan maybe Pintara or ute?. I guessing most of nissan vehicle uses same parts if they were manufactured with in same years unless it shows the diference like 1.6 pulsa and skyline. but don't know for sure .

my a/c was playing up a bit starting to show faulty sensor so, fixem up than, gas ran out so, re gas it and now, the compressor won't kick in and blowing fuses. I am using 25amp fuse instead of 10amp (original blue) to just to keep cold air but won't last long... I am seeing a specialist on this Wed, but most likely compressor needed to be replaced.

I might run up to wrackers if I can find alternative compressor from other nissans.

come on guys, talk to me!!

You need to get the model number off your compressor and you need to match that number to other compressors that you may find.Otherwise you will find that they may all look the same BUT the offset of the pulley is different and the hose connections are different. There are so many variables in a/c compressors of the same type.Unless you want to go to the expense of getting custom brackets and hoses made up.

I got some other one.. "Diesel Kikki" brand (japan!).. from a 1989 model.

92600 01U00..

I've got some other one in there (think its a hitachi) now.. different part number but seemed to bolt up all fine? Haven't actually used it yet though..

I have checked mine and it is

ZEXEL DCW 17BE

Part no: 506231 -0097

se no: (2691) 033560

I have other question if anyone knows,

I have regas my a/c to R134A from mob down at auburn, he charged $150 for changing two valves and re-gas. but I believe there is more involved as changing dryer and oil in compressor?? or doesn't matter? I wasn't aware it so I questioned him but he said I wasn't necessary to fit new dryer it is optional.

what do you think guy? would that f*** up my A/C?

I am taking mine to Unique Auto sports at Castle hill this tuesday to see what is wrong with my car.

I am just hoping my compressor isn't f**k up because they didn't change oil...

if it did? I am going ask money back and charge him for the compressor!!

    • When you say your cams are 272/262 is that 272in and 262ex?
    • We're arguing semantics. I am saying 45 accel and a 55 deccel ramp are "2 ways". Even a 45 degree ramp and an 89 degree ramp is "2 ways", because it is literally... two ways. The cusco 55/30 ramp is a 2 way. It's two ways. I get it though - in normal nomenclature a "2 way" would be 45/45 or 55/55 or 60/60 i.e the same locking in both directions. And something like 45/65 would be considered "1.5 way". I would then say if we're getting into the nitty gritty then every locking diff is a "2 way" diff and we should not speak in 1.5, or 2 ways but ramp angles instead. Which ofc if one of those ramp angles is 90deg, that side is not doing any locking. :p So Nismo don't obviously sell 3 things. The fact of the matter that they only sell two items really goes to show that there's a 2 way and a "1,5 way" which is really a 1 way. I believe the actual lockup for the 'adjustability' of the GT pro is really just setting preload for when the ramps actually start locking up. It's not changing how much 'wayness' there is. It is (somehow) horribly explained. People just buy whatever diff and go "locks up good bruh" and that's what ends up on socials forever.
    • No, you're wrong, and you've always been wrong about this. The Nismo has 2 sets of openings. One is a real 2-way, and the other is a 1-way. There is no 1.5-way possible with the ramps that they offer. A real 1.5-way does exist. That Cusco stuff I posted is a prime example. If the forward drive ramps are, say 55°, and the overrun ramps are, say, 30°, then you will get about half as much LSD effect on overrun than you do on drive. It is real, it realy works. OK, you're slightly right. The Nismo has 55° and 45° ramps on the 2-way, so it does offer less LSD effect on overrun. But, I think that just means that they've (probably) sensibly established that you do not want actually equal LSD effect on overrun. You just want "quite a lot, but not quite as much as the drive LSD effect".
    • Just wanted to unearth this and post my baby with the new front ❤️😝 Took her to my wedding rehearsal today. Next up is getting wide skirts (after wedding)
