the bottom and back of the rear seats was taken off, and the shelf was pulled towards me, a couple of clips popped as i lifted up, but the pillar plastic had a tab on each side which was slotted into the parcel shelf. I had to shorten the tabs with some strong scissors so it could bend thin wood shelf. all is out ..coollllllll

hey Nozila that dancing girl is turning me on, might import one of those too!!!

Yes, it is considered structural... My mate in a VH commo got in trouble from cops becoz of it!

You can either cut it and take your chances, or fasion another parcel shelf out of MDF to sit ontop of the original, then carpet the MDF if you want to fit bigger speakers!

Even if you decide to cut the parcel shelf, make sure that the speakers aren't going to hit the battery in the boot! i nearly had this problem in my car, but speakers miss the battery by about 1cm!

they a carrozerria ones that r 2 3' speakers and 2 tweeters in the 1 unit

aparently they light up at the back too but i cant figure out how to conenct them up without maybe blowing them up

I have the same ones... They were already connected when I got the car. You need to connect them to your rear lights. So when you turn your lights on they light up as well. I found this out as I am pulling mine out (to big).

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
