Hi everyone,

I was talking to a guy that drives a tuff 32GTR at the local Hill climb. From what I was told the car has N1 turbos, Autronic, most likley a lot of money spent on the motor, it has a two stage rev limiter setup, its making 350KW, I assume its at all four and it runs a 10.3 or 10.4 at the drags, the car is pretty much full weight.

I was talking to my mates about it and they all seem to think its quite possible, I wouldnt have thought N1 turbos could produce 350rwkw, and I would think you would need a lot more than 350rwkw to run a mid-low 10?

Has anyone got any oppinions on this as it could solve our argument!

Cheers Eddie.

giant (qld) has run a 10.4x if i recall with his R32 GTR/N1 turbos

Around 380rwkw... thats on fuel though and a dog box

So it might be possible. Who's to say he wasnt running a race fuel tune for the drags etc?

There are many variables that you havent provided for an accurate yes or no

Yeah R31 Nismoid, I didnt include all those factors because I didn't know them. Maybe the car your thinking of is the same one I am talking about because it was trailered to the event and I think its from around Brisbane area. It could well have been on race fuel, no doubt it had at least semi/slicks, I just had the feeling that N1s could only flow about 300rwkw and I would have thought that would be a long way off a 10sec pass.

They are. Trust me.

Russel is on there. Username: giant

You'll see him in the motorsport section mainly :D

I've met the bloke personally aswell at a recent AutoSalon Circuit battle in NSW that Russel and co-driver Mark took outright honours.

I would no doubt that car for a second. Its a well built car, so well setup and its got all the times to prove it.

Definately running N1's.

380rwkw on fuel is not out of reach by any means.

Yep thats the car. He is a nice bloke, I only doubted it because you see people putting big turbos on GTRs and they dont seem to run such an impressive time. I am pretty sure he said it only makes about 350 but that might have been on the setup for the hill climbs or something.

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
