Hey Guys I do not have Facebook but been keeping my eyes open for cruises and events and have come across 2 events that maybe of interest. (I hope this is not against forum rules, if so sorry) anyway 1st one is

https://www.facebook.com/events/915720705155397/

and 2nd one is

https://www.facebook.com/events/1013420238677337/

The 1st one I prob won't be able to make it due to work, but I as I have plenty of warning for the 2nd I might be able to change the days I work, if anyone is keen for a before hand meet up and then Team SAU WA rock up and make an entrance.

Anyway let me know who is keen and wanting to arrange something I think it will be a fun event and for a really good cause.

OK Well the show and shine is coming up pretty soon, who wants to go to it. I think it's a $5 entry for cars and $1 for spectators which will go to charity, and it will be good for a new of the SAUWA skylines to park together.

There is a cruise this Saturday raising funds for a Truckie drivers family which I think is really cool from a community perspective unfortunately I can not make it due to work, I have spoken to a few friends about cruises and 1 of them advised me that most now are arranged via Facebook and kept private and by invite to minimise interference and to stop things getting out of hand, which sucks for me not having Facebook. I will see what I can find out about up coming events and let you know.

I'll give a miss this week cruise guys , but count me in the next cruise :) $5 ? Too easy :) x have a great weekend guys , you have my mobile number just in case if you didn't hear from me from here :)

Oh one more thing - spotted white R35 in Joondalup ?

Hi Guys.

So I'm wondering who would be up for some sort of meet, whether it be a meet and breakfast somewhere or a cruise, or both. No matter whatever car you own it would be good to come down to see some other cool Skylines and meet some skyline owners.

I'm open to suggestions on what you guys would like to do and if you are keen please post up.

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
