i just want to know what a few parts are on my R32

there is a thingo in the boot, underneath the parcel shelf, like a amp or fan or something?

there is a bracket on the floor under the drivers seat like a little clip or latch?

and also, do anybody else have problems with there stereo (standard) and climate control displays?

my stereo goes into stealh mode, where it is on but there is no display.

Right in front of the seat? That is to locate a floor mat. Should be a matching one in front of the passenger's seat too.

floor mat clip.

if its actually under the seat it'd be the socket/clip for

the seatbelt lights that get taken out during compliancing.. but i could be wrong

the floor mat holder clip is at the front more in section were your legs go

there is no bracket under my seat.. i know what the floor mat holder is.. but i think there is a plastic vent thingy under my drivers seat..., had no problems with stereo.. but installed a new kenwood abut 2 weeks after getting my car...

and i want to know whats under the parcel shelf too, i have one also.. it cant be a hicas computer, coz the r32 gts-t or gts does not have hicas.

Thats false. My R32-GTST has Hicas. Its the 4 wheel steering system, and i know for a fact it does coz i drive it every day. It doesnt have Attesa (the 4 wheel drive system) (but the GTS4 does.

the thing in the boot under the parcel shelf is a factory fitted amp (clarion i think). its something pathetic like 15w. its ok for the standard stereo, but if u plan on dropping in something decent, disconnect it and run the speakers off a quality amp

Faulty climate control displays are not uncommon in R32s.

Most often the dry solder joints inside them cause the problems.

i was told that only the gtr in the r32 range comes with hicas, my gts does not have hicas... and i have not heard of any other gts-t in r32 with hicas.. only yours :S so i dont know

but as said before.. i havent heard of any gts-t with hicas in r32 ...

My R32 GTST has hicas and the importer has 4 more with hicas.
