is there a KK at the sydney airport?

Theres a 24hr shop just next to the airport on your left as you drive into syd airport and they just opened a new shop in the virgin blue terminal and I don't think theres one in the quantas terminal

  • 2 weeks later...

Obviuosly have nothing better to do with their lives ;) If they can't wait for them that much why don't they just go to sydney and get them....although being able to say I had the first KK dounut sold in Vic is kinda cool :)

8 hrs until it opens!!!

Went past there just then after getting some dinner and the carpark is already packed. There a marque out the front and people all around already lining up at the front door. There will be people sleeping the night to get in first!!! Idiots!!!

That tent thing has been up all week

They have been having private functions there (VIPS)

Im in Berwick i might pop down soon have a look c... ;)

hamish and andy (fox fm) had some chick on the phone that was standing in line last night, and was going to be sleeping there....they offered her $500 and a weeks supply of supermarket cinamon donuts, to leave the line, and she didnt go.

absolute moron.

Flew back from Sydney two weeks ago and the entire cabin was filled with KK donut boxes! The person who delayed my flight came on carrying what looked like the "feed a small nation" size box and proceeded to buffet everyones head as he went down the aisle with it!

I am in Sydney next week and will be flying back Saturday morning and driving up to Winton. Thinking of grabbing a box to bring up although it will be about 4 hours between purchase and delivery unless I can get the plane to stop at Benaila on the way through. :whistling:

i was going to go today but i would say that it will be packed to the brim and lines of cars and people for a km lol

They'll be fine.

James always brings boxes back from Sydney.

In fact I remember a certain box sitting on Leewahs bench for about a week and we polished them off one night and they were still fine :whistling:

Hahaha - what a tosser.

i WAS going to go after work but think of how long the queue will be after everyone finishes work...im gonna wait til midnight and go down... when the queue is only half a kilometer long

Well the travel news had a special mention about the increased traffic around Fountain Gate because of Krispy Kreme so chances are it will be a fair wait.

Might try and grab some at the airport if I get time then. Anyone want a group buy!?

Went at around 6.00pm, and line stretched for about 1 km. Cops were there diverting traffic away from the kk carpark coz it was packed with people everywhere.

It is closing at 11pm tnite and reopening 24hrs from tomorrow to get all the people out of the area tnite!!!

I will have to attemp to get some friday.

    • After using a protractor for an actually accurate assessment of what is required,  and by NOT using my uncalibrated eyeball I worked out I need a 25° silicone bend from the TB ro the MAF, but, my choice was either a 30° or a 23° (23° is a weird spec), so I grabbed the 23° one from Raceworks I also grabbed 1mtr of 3" straight from Just Jap, I needed 350mm, but they only had 300mm, or 1mtr lengths....meh Also ordered a 1/2" hose bulkhead fitting from fleabay, this has a smoothish mushroom looking head (they are designed for below the water line of boats) that will fit inside the bend, the hose bit and threaded bit looks to long, but nothing that a hacksaw cannot fix if required, the hose will then just get jamed on the threaded bit up to the retaining nut Fingers crossed and the unsightly amount of hose clamps will be reduced down to 4 once all the parts arrive
    • Oil change does not trigger code 21. Code 21 is for coilpacks primary side connection. You can try to clear the code with a battery disconnect, hold down the brake pedal to drain capacitors through the brake lights with the ignition on for 10-15 seconds before you reconnect the battery. I have seen R35 coil conversion permanently cause this code with no ill effects so it might be the resistance it wants to see isn't quite right on one or more coilpacks. Could be inside the ECU, could be the harness, could be a coil. You can test it all if you want or just ignore until the car actually starts misfiring.
    • I forgot you have a Nistune ECU. Use Nistune to do all the tests I mentioned instead of faffing with 30+ year old electrical connectors. You can read MAF volts off that too, there are reference values in the service manual to tell you roughly what it should be in different conditions.
    • No. I think it might be the AFM. Hence the use of the terms "swaptronics", which implies the use of swapping out electronics for the purpose of diagnosis. It's about the only way to prove that a small/niggling/whatever problem with an AFM or a CAS or similar is actually caused by that AFM/CAS/whatever. A known good item swapped in that still gives the same problem is likely to be caused somewhere else. They're all the same. Spraying AFMs with cleaner is an each way bet between cleaning it and f**king it.
    • Oh wow! This might actually work amazingly. Do you know the ratio of the diff? I was told the only thing you need to make sure of is if the front & rear diff ratios are the same. Ours is a 4.083 Thanks!
