Well, i've been told by a few people that the R34 GTT cooler is good for around 200rwkw. The motor puts out 206kw at the flywheel, so there's a little room to expand on an R34.

I swapped my R33 cooler over to an R34 cooler, and the difference in core size is obvious, so the cooling may be a bit better. The stock R33 item seems to have smaller end-tanks and in/out holes, so i'd put a guess at 170-180rwkw? You'd be more worried about the intake temps at that kind of power rather than how well the cooler will flow.

Its not also just a matter of power, but how _long_ can it support it. ie its heatsinking capabilities.

Ie go boosting in the hills for half an hour on a warm day and I'll guarrantee you'll burn your hand on it, even with say 150rwkw. However have 200rwkw and have a 5 second fang in a cold night and it wouldnt be has hot as the previous example.

Basically for heatsinking purposes, all stock intercoolers are built to a budget. ie quite poor.

The FMIC gives you more consistent power.

When the stock item becomes heat soaked (which is very very quickly) the car will be down on power not to mention much closer to detonation.

Give it a little bit of a warm day and ping ping ping. :P
