the plates rules are odd at times, im told its legalish to have a sticker plate BUT, it must have the same reflective appearance as a genuine plate, so when you get done by a camera for speeding it picks it up..

could be wrong, but i knew a few people with plates done by a friend of mine and they have had no trouble..

its also legal to have your plate mounted off center, mine is off to the right like the japs usually do, rhe tule being it has to be visible within 15 degree's either side of the centre of the front from a certain distance..

when i had my ZX front bumper resprayed - it was done by a shop next door to my dads work anyway they parked the car out fron tof his work. I come to pick the car the spraypainter has gone home and im like "wheres the front plate?" the prick lost it for one week i drove around with no front plate he found it again.

You quite often see cars round with sticker plates - least they have the rego number on it! Lot of times i drove around in the new company cars forgetting to put dealer plates on it - must've been lucky not to get caught.
