microtech LT8S. incudes hand controller, lume, sensors, etc

Whats this worth? Guessing it was on your RB20?

edit: wait the LT8S is traditionally 4x injector 4x spark.. so this doesn't fit on an RB20?

price is $300 for the gtr injectors. condition is fine although i havn't had them flow tested, they came out of a running gtr and were only pulled out as they were replaced by sard 720cc items.

the microtech came from a running rb20det so is a 6 injector/spark output unit. it includes/sliced into a rb20 wiring lume.

now that you mention it i am unsure as to whether its a lt8s or ltx8s (as its at a mate house, sorry guys but i will find out for sure)

i was under the impression the lt8 and older mtx8 were the 4 output units whereas the lt8s was the 6 cylinder unit. but in saying that i've seen a lt8 used on a r32 gtr.

anyway it works with and came from a rb20

after about $1000

have checked. the microtech is definitely a LT8S. it can run a 6cyl/output car

anyone got a cheap (non turbo auto??) s13 they dont want?

hey mate you still looking for the cheap silvy? i got one ready for a rb20 to drop in. I was about to do the same myself as i have the RB20DET engine and nearly all the parts even the r32 box ready to just go in but im willing to sell the car as is (old ca18de box aswell ripped out) So its ready for the rb20 to go in.

So let me know how much u are willing to spend if you want it and we might work somehting out.

Cheers

Rob

    • Thanks Mate, I did know you could do that but i know there is a pump out there that you can bolt on and it all lines up. I was told about it and then forgot the model, I figure if i am pulling it apart i will just put a new one on
    • You can also remove the veins from the HICAS portion of your existing pump.
    • Trying to swap the rear subframe on my R34 and can't remove the L-shaped stay brackets between the front subframe mounts and the sill/chassis. I'm in the UK so rust is a problem. I've used loads of WD40 and then Tunap 103 for days beforehand. I backed off the bolts forward a bit, backward a bit repeatedly for ages to try and avoid snapping. They have all moved a few full turns. The one I've spent most time on has come loose and I can turn with fingers, and it will pull down and push up 2-3mm. But it won't come out. I can tighten it back up and loosen it off again repeatedly but it still won't come out. I assumed there's a captive nut inside but if that's broken loose then I can't understand why I can always tighten the bolt back up - I'd expect it to just spin both ways. Any ideas what's happening here? I can't visualise what's inside there to cause this.
