drove past there this morning, it was blocked.....

that guy works at UQ, and i have personally talked to him before........very sad.......hes also on BC.

i was told he was doing 180ks or something.....

I saw the little pic. He was moving alright, we kinda guessed it was an RX7 then read the rest of the article. Only 17y/o or something. Sad. But it does go back to the govt and driving training I say (to a point...) If he knew first hand what the speed does then he might not have got in to that situation. But hey, training costs more money than peoples lives.

yeah, i have talked to the kid before.........feel pretty sad, especially after my mates told me what they saw.....

ppl at his age should not have a powerful car like his....end of the story.

Nice engine pics back there Shaneo....

I like the typical 26/30 gap in the front cover... :D

Love it... Looks like you have a fair amount of work left tho... I hate the fiddley bits...

thanks col :)

you wont see the bottom cover when the engine is in, but i wanted to paint it anyway :(

yeh, puttin the sump adapter on and modifying the bits needed to fit the sump will prolly give me the irrites, but ohwell

i had my previous R33 before i got my licence, and now im only 19 and have a fairly hi-powered gtr. it just comes down to how you drive the thing, and of course "experience".

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
