one's now a Hair dresser (Virgin) the others likes to blow up skylines (Vag Virgin) :ermm:

lol what about in pathology reports?

"red cells are normochromic and normocytic"

"platelets appear normal"

comment:

"mild normochromic anaemia"

"bum sex"

"mild neutropenia"

"suggest repeat at later date"

I had one on a weekend on a hospital patient. Just the usual type infection and the only change from previous was a bit of a left shift, so i went to write:

"Left shift noted".

Unfortunately it came out as "Left SHIT noted".

I didnt notice until i authorised and took the hard copy of the result to the hospital. By that time it had gone to the doctor and all.

ahah classic tim

s&n use way less comments then us. it sucks balls big time :P

best one was one of the girls in haem at our main lab intended to write "small numbers of early myeloid cells persist" but it got released as "small numbers of early myeloid cells PENIS" ROFL

Yeah we dont comment on much really. Its a bit strange actually. I like haematology so it sucks to release so much without comment or making a film.

Its all ok, there will be computer programs to add comments for us soon, their goes job prospects, so pay will get below the poverty line :P

we already have whats called 'auto comments' for things like mild increases in leucocyte population (say a mild neutrophilia), borderline low hb etc...

I dont mind haem either, technically speaking i'm a 'haematology scientist' as i'm based out of that department.

Have you done the latest RCPA survey for haem yet - its p.falciparum, transforming CLL, and chediak -Higashi syndrome :P

Whos cracking onto Anna#2 this week???

Good everning, i ate mince for din dins and it was yum yum...

We agreed on the 1st and 3rd one. 2nd one though was a bit of mystery as their wasnt much but immatures. The others said AML M0, but i wasnt so sure. They have been there 20 years longer, so they win.

ahh ok, well i just looked at it on sunday by myself lol... was a hard one to classify for sure, either way we dont get penalised as it goes by descriptive comments only for scientists.... did think of AML but the age was kinda wrong....

    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
