josh, ill have my car up and running b4 u buy another car rofl

you will have a QUICK car running before I get another one, unless I buy my old car back, but as in this thread/reasons why. It won't happen. Pretty sure I'll buy this Silvia tomora

i was always under the impression that the friction created by the affect of a burnout increased the charge to the flux capacator

this is a phenomenon i have pondered many a late night...

close call, I just got pulled over by the popo

I was heading up a road they were waiting at the lights as i went sailing through an intersection me thinking F U K! as i was clearly not doing the 60kmh as signed well few seconds later they come round the corner party lights doing their thing...

got rbt lisence check and a few stern words... they kept trying to get me to say/admit i was driving with out undue car and attention as i wouldnt admit to a specific speed.

Cant really complain as i was doing the wrong thing, guess it would have been too hard for them to pin me on it or they were just feeling forgiving!

fun stuff as i have not been pulled over for 11 months!

So noel if everything goes well today should we expect a full tune done?

I sure hope so.

We'll just stumble along to the next obstacle Mike.Farkin rice cars! I am gonna go buy an lj torry and shove a small block in it. Spark, Fuel, Timing. VROOOOOOM. no electronic whizmo flux capacitors or phase inhibitors to worry about. Just drive.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
