Working from home, My son got suspended for defending himself...should of just beat the kid senseless, school teacher stood by when he was hit in the head from behind and let the kid unload on him before he fought back (trying to do the right thing waiting for the teacher to stop it) then they suspend him for the same amount of time as the kid that attacked him.

At my old school... None the less a private school. I had this many times I used to get bullied a shit load and Everytiem they would see me is me fighting back or verbally abusing them. Needles to say in the time I was at that school I got about 1 month of suspension and said enough is enough and moved schools

New school had no tolerance and they stuck by it I the first month a quarter of my grade was stood down (expelled)

Yeah, I am not mad at him.

He went to the teacher like he was told to and they stood there and watched, When he did unload on the other kid he busted him up pretty good so i don't think there will be a repeat from him.

I had to argue with the principle about it so I asked him " If I was to start beating the shit out of you now would you expect one of your staff to intervene and at what point when they don't would you start to fight back?"

This reduced the suspension by a day at least.

Excellent! Chants' kid was getting bullied at one stage and she decided to tell me when I was very stressed and very drunk. I had a long stern chat with the child about how he should smack the other kids if the f**k with him. He gave me a concerned look and I told him to rip their throats out - probably not the best advice. He still seemed a little concerned to which I said that if the other kids told their daddies and their dads want to kick off, Tony will beat the living f**k out of them. Bear in mind I was pretty smashed at this point. Anywho, he goes to kindy and asked the kids to stop heckling him. One of them decided to hit him. He fought back - quite well mind you, and then the kids went and told the teacher. The teacher basically said that they deserved it for picking on him and he was in the right. Good on him or standing up or himself!

Very good point Mr Dad. Educators have no idea I think. Too long at the front of the class perhaps?

High school is all about that shit. You either sink or swim. No wonder kids don't end up with any education when they're too busy watching out for bullies. My school was a bit different, lots of the kids carried weapons.

I am a lover Hough, not a fighter, I got in very few fights and never got suspended for more than a day

You my dark knight friend 'ARE A LEGEND'

Too much of this happening - its not right, but you cannot just always be the better person and do nothing. I'm gonna teach my kids the same and fight back. Beacause sadly that is the way the world is today!

He was three at the time. He's now just turned four and puts up with the other SAU boys when then come over. Like McFly and Mike and Grego...

Way to pick some useless shit... First weapon is rare as f**k and ammunition won't be easy to find as well as being large and unwieldy. 2nd weapon has zero stopping power. And a Katana? Really? I noticed all those years of training you have. Bushmaster would be awesome until something breaks and you can't fix it.

I'd go for:

Any semi auto rifle chambered in either 7.62mm or .308 e.g. a M14 or Remington R25/Bushman. Loads of accuracy, range and stopping power and the ammo is very common, even in Australia.

Any semi auto, short barrelled 12 gauge shotgun. Cut down Benelli Super 12 would be great. Again, stopping power and common ammo.

A splitting maul. No skill required, huge damage potential, useful for lots of stuff.

Any late 80's or early 90's carburettor engined 4x4. Would need some armour welded on in places but apart from that they would be fairly easy to operate, robust, easy to find parts for and relatively easy to repair.

pie time!

also, never been in a fight.

ever.

ive got a very looooooong fuse.

was picked on constantly, didnt really care.

I had my friends, thats all I needed.

you are a rare basket case mate.

I was never a cool kid at school (didnt want to be anyways) nor a nerd either, could say I was an in betweener. I dont like fighting and was not really a troubled kid.

But I had made it clear that if u f@cked with me you I would literally punch you in the face and then kick you in the balls!

only took one fight and a weeks suspension to prove that - although still not morally right, I was never bullied ever again

theses days I'm faced with office politics (the new age of bullying) which drives me

I got into a fight and suspended for 5 days. The principal never called home to inform my parents, however I did tell them I was suspended. So since the principal didn't call home mum sent me to school haha. Walked straight past the principal while I was ment to be suspended and he didn't say or do anything.

As for fights, well I've been in more than I can count but all of them were at work and none of them started by me.

Got picked on really badly in primary school and at the start of high school. By the end of high school I had a super tight group of friends that I'm still extremely close with and I'd developed into an outgoing introvert so I could blend really easily into any social situation and change my personality and behaviour to suit any crowd (which made hospitality work easier for me later on) without actually engaging with them beyond a superficial level so I was able to skate by unnoticed on the edge of all the cliques at school.

Then I left high school and realised how much bullshit it all was.

    • Thought I would get some advice from others on this situation.    Relevant info: R33 GTS25t Link G4x ECU Walbro 255LPH w/ OEM FP Relay (No relay mod) Scenario: I accidentally messed up my old AVS S5 (rev.1) at the start of the year and the cars been immobilised. Also the siren BBU has completely failed; so I decided to upgrade it.  I got a newer AVS S5 (rev.2?) installed on Friday. The guy removed the old one and its immobilisers. Tried to start it; the car cranks but doesnt start.  The new one was installed and all the alarm functions seem to be working as they should; still wouldn't start Went to bed; got up on Friday morning and decided to have a look into the no start problem. Found the car completely dead.  Charged the battery; plugged it back in and found the brake lights were stuck on.  Unplugging the brake pedal switch the lights turn off. Plug it back in and theyre stuck on again. I tested the switch (continuity test and resistance); all looks good (0-1kohm).  On talking to AVS; found its because of the rubber stopper on the brake pedal; sure enough the middle of it is missing so have ordered a new one. One of those wear items; which was confusing what was going on However when I try unplugging the STOP Light fuses (under the dash and under the hood) the brake light still stays on. Should those fuses not cut the brake light circuit?  I then checked the ECU; FP Speed Error.  Testing the pump again; I can hear the relay clicking every time I switch it to ON. I unplugged the pump and put the multimeter across the plug. No continuity; im seeing 0.6V (ECU signal?) and when it switches the relay I think its like 20mA or 200mA). Not seeing 12.4V / 7-9A. As far as I know; the Fuel Pump was wired through one of the immobiliser relays on the old alarm.  He pulled some thick gauged harness out with the old alarm wiring; which looks to me like it was to bridge connections into the immobilisers? Before it got immobilised it was running just fine.  Im at a loss to why the FP is getting no voltage; I thought maybe the FP was faulty (even though I havent even done 50km on the new pump) but no voltage at the harness plug.  Questions: Could it be he didnt reconnect the fuel pump when testing it after the old alarm removal (before installing the new alarm)?  Is this a case of bridging to the brake lights instead of the fuel pump circuit? It's a bit beyond me as I dont do a lot with electrical; so have tried my best to diagnose what I think seems to make sense.  Seeking advice if theres for sure an issue with the alarm install to get him back here; or if I do infact, need an auto electrician to diagnose it.
    • Then, shorten them by 1cm, drop the car back down and have a visual look (or even better, use a spirit level across the wheel to see if you have less camber than before. You still want something like 1.5 for road use. Alternatively, if you have adjustable rear ride height (I assume you do if you have extreme camber wear), raise the suspension back to standard height until you can get it all aligned properly. Finally, keep in mind that wear on the inside of the tyre can be for incorrect toe, not just camber
    • I know I have to get a wheel alignment but until then I just need to bring the rear tyres in a bit they're wearing to the belt on the inside and brand new on the outside edge. I did shorten the arms a bit but got it wrong now after a few klms the Slip and VDC lights come on. I'd just like to get it to a point where I can drive for another week or two before getting an alignment. I've had to pay a lot of other stuff recently so doing it myself is my only option
    • You just need a wheel alignment after, so just set them to the same as current and drive to the shop. As there are 2 upper links it may also be worth adding adjustable upper front links at the same time; these reduce bump steer when you move the camber (note that setting those correctly takes a lot longer as you have to recheck the camber at each length of the toe arm, through a range of movement, so you could just ignore that unless the handling becomes unpredictable)
    • I got adjustable after market rear camber arm to replace the stock one's because got sick of having to buy new rear tyres every few months. Can anyone please let me know what the best adjustment length would be. I don't have the old ones anymore to get measurements. I'm guessing the stock measurement minus a few mm would do it. Please any help on replacing them would be fantastic I've watched the YouTube clips but no-one talks about how long to set the camber arm to.
