I'm beginning to think no one from T-Bar can drive...

The silvia was pretty special. loosing on the formation lap takes skill, Skill that Ive only seen once before from Graham in the V35 at lakeside.

was wondering where you were. Saw you for the first time on the roll out onto the track, then once as I came past waving :) where did you boys park? i was gonna say hello, but until we got rolling I wasnt even sure if you were there or not.

thats not my fav layout of track, those corners thru the "dipper" suck for any car

Ill definitely agree with you their, I must admit i was surprised how "Happy" a lot of the boys were going into the corners

Hey Bodo, got in a fair few laps before i had to get off with coilpack drama.

I was the ginger haired bloke in the green shirt that came up to you before we started and said hi, had my mate Nick with me. Your 33 is very very clean mate, paintwork is in awesome condition and the bonnet wrap looks good

Only figured out who you were once i seen you in the A-Bomb, tbh i think its pretty cool.... My car not working properly annoyed me a fiar bit and left me in a poor mood come the end of the session

Im currently at work.... Was going to stay late for the drags, but come 4pm the weather was always going to go south so i drive home and my other mates stayed out there. The Bronze SS Ute from the happy laps session ran a 12.6. Chris VL didnt see the track due to an oil leak problem

12.6 is no slouch eh :)

I didn't actually get a chance to line it up

does hard. Makes 408rwhp. I had a "Private Road" run on the way down to the track and he got me rolling in 3rd..... Next run rolling in 2nd at about 65-70km mine roared away

morning all

Oh I see, well it was good to meet you then. :)

cheers I do try and keep my car clean, despite the layer of bitumen spots all over it. and I payed enough for it to be straight :)

glad you had fun, and corners can be quite happy for those of us that don't have the power you boys have (nick thinks hes in your league, but hes actually down here with us) :P.

Ya didn't say hi to be :(

us northsiders don't mix well with Woomba riff raff

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
    • Lock me in mate, although I'm not sure if I'll be heading up from Goulburn or down from Sydney, either way, return will be back to Goulburn
