danielson
i thought id give an update to this topic http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...opic=119286&hl= I have just discovered that not only is the piston in cyl 5 smashed, number 2,3 and 4 are also obliterated. ring lands are non existent. I didnt discover this at the beginning because i knew the compresion on cyl 5 was very low, so i removed it first to inspect it. im supprised the thing was still running. Im an 90% sure this is due to the flow characteristics of the stock plenum, as if you look at it, cyl 2,3,4 and 5 would theoretically recieve a higher frow than 1 and 6. causing a rich state on 1 and 6, and a very lean state on 2,3,4 and 5. What are you opinions on this? My father is a mechanical egineer, and he first pointed me in the direcion of the plenum just by looking at its design. comments anyone??? i know of a few of you who will GRILL me for this....
