due to the fact, that they had something like 60-40 % of the possesion, absolutley dominating and to have a very very questionable penalty go to them in last 5 second of injury time. Would not have been a win, i would have been proud of, and also it is strange that every referee that did the australia games were sent home because of bad desisions,

well possesion means NOTHING if you don't do anythin with it. you dont say australia deserved to win you say australia didn't deserve to lose but at the end of the day someone has to......

Zidane is a gun, and always will be a gun. Stop crying over a headbutt which the italian player most likely deserved as Zidane is known for his gentlemen character. As a professional career, it is a dissapointing way to go out, but good on him for sticking up for himself and getting the message across to the loud mouth player.

zidane is definately one of the greatest of all time and i don't think that a headbut will affect that too much. if you know zidane and have watched him over the past years you'd know that he's one of the friendliest players out there and a real gentleman so yeah i'm sure that materazzi said somethin very offensive to him otherwise zizou would never do somethin like that :O

what a pathetic world cup it turned out to be, and the final/the winners summed it up really...meh...

cup full of low lights, no team stood out, no one single player stood out, brazil did not live up to expectations, refeeres were hopeless and i lost all respect for FIFA.

only highlight was the socceroos getting to where they did, throughly enjoyed every game's every second apart from the last 8 seconds which gave us the boot from germany...

back to work morrow...back to reality :O

there isnt a reason because they dont deserve to beat them and they didnt.

simple as that.

if the aussies are so great and had so much ball and italy were a man down for a half... then why didnt they score?

sorry but as ive said, theyre a really good second rate team and they didnt deserve to beat Italy. People need to get over it already and focus on the good that came of their adventures in Germany.

thank god for ni.

who gives a shit how much of the ball they had. they should have had more posession, playing with an extra man. what else did you expect?

also, no one seems to want to go near the fact that france's penalty wasn't 1, as he was never touched, and went for a nice dive....but i dont hear italy complaining...they just got on with it and scored an equalizer.

then to have the possible winner ruled out for a passive offside....again, they just got on with it.

the thing people seem to look past, is that had it gone to extra time, they still had to win it, they dont just automatically beat italy if it goes to ET.....but i cant wait for the "australia are the real world champions" comments.

as for zidane, there IS NO EXCUSE. try to justify it all you like because you love him. Shit, he's a great player, everyone knows it. but as martin tyler said, its very easy to lose 15 years of respect in 15 seconds...and he just did. When totti looked to spit in someones direction, there was the biggest shit storm. and it had to be replayed 100's of times in slow mo to even see that he did it, and even still it was questionable.

you could speed up the footage of zidane being a pig and head butting materazzi, and its still clear cut. there was no excuse for it, plain and simple

Quote from 'The Independent' in the UK:

"In the wake of the incident there can be only two possible interpretations. One is that Zidane, after weeks of gathering tension in which he had brilliantly recreated the best of his career in victories over the pre-tournament favourites Brazil and the much-admired Spain, simply lost his head and had something akin to a nervous breakdown.

The other was that he was reacting to a remark from the Italian player which went straight to the core of his pride; in his family and his Muslim ancestors.

That last suspicion could only be underlined by a remnant of violence from his past. Eight years ago he was sent off in a group game in the World Cup finals in Marseilles which he eventually came to dominate with a two-goal performance against Brazil in the final in the Stade de France. He turned viciously on a Saudi Arabian opponent, as he did on Materazzi last night. Later, the consensus was that the Saudi player had insulted Zidane's ancestors, a nomadic North African tribe"

There is always a reason for someone to do something that is out of their character dezz. If he was known for being a rough head trouble maker, then people would understand that the guy is just a trouble maker. I disagree with you completely, i'm anticipating to find out what was said by the italian player to cause such a response.

Like i said, no excuse in my opinion.

People can speculate all they want about what was said. But unless you were within meters of the 2 players, you can't say what was said.

head butting someone is 1 of the lowest acts, and he got what he deserved. good to see the ref wasn't swayed by it being his last game etc.

well there you go, i've still got that game on tape were he stomped on the Saudi player and i never got why he did that, now i do :) thanks for that.

if you watch it again you'll see that they were chattin and zidane started walking away smiling then Materazzi said something and that was were zidane turned around.

yes there is no excuse BUT IF he did make a remark that was that deep then Materazzi got what he deserved. hell if it was me and he started sayin shit bout my family, race, etc i would've punched the f**k out of him i don't care how important the game is

well with that attitude mario you wouldnt be known as whatever everyones calling zidane...so calm etc

im not saying i wouldnt react in a similar way (not a cheap head butt though) if something VERY VERY hurtful was said (and it would need to be really really deep for me to do that in my last game, and in a world cup final)

you say materazzi got what he deserved, thats your opinion. 1 thing is clear, zidane got what he deserved...

The France coach said: "I don't mention what happens inside the group, I will not speak on behalf of the players, but it's sad having a great player like Zidane sent off, especially in his final game. Something must have happened but I don't know what. I don't think he decided out of the blue to [head-butt] him, that he wanted to leave the pitch, something must have happened. I'm not saying that I am excusing it but I can understand."

Domenech added: "The referee saw nothing, the assistant referee saw nothing and then we have the fourth official seeing the video replay and telling the referee. The sending-off killed the game and they [italy] played for penalties. It should not have been Pirlo who was man of the match but Materazzi, because he made a drama out of everything. Materazzi organised the sending-off."

lol i said IF he had said somethin like that :P IF

at the end of the day man Italy 4 time world champions :)

i'm happy for my italian mum eventhough she didn't know the world cup was on :D

i lost $120 on a bet with my bro which is what f**ked me up the most :)

"The former Real Madrid star's moment of madness in his last match before retiring may have been provoked by Materazzi calling his sister a prostitute, according to a report on Brazilian television channel Globo.

Although neither player has yet revealed the nature of their disagreement, Fantastico, a programme on Globo, employed lip-reading experts who said footage of the incident showed the Italian twice insulted Zidane's sister."

If this is true, its clear who the PIG is.

    • So, this shouldn't be such a mission, but there were a few tricks so I thought I'd post up a DIY for it. This was on a Q50 Red Sport but I doubt any other V37 model is very different (maybe just less steps for the intake heat exchanger hoses) I pulled the radiator out to flush it because the car was running hot at the track, but obviously the same steps apply for changing a radiator for any reason including an upgrade. If you are removing the radiator, you of course need to drain and refill, so have 5+ litres of blue coolant ready. You don't need to drain the intake heat exchanger to remove the radiator but depending on your plans you may need a couple of litres for that as well. You will also need something to deal with the auto transmission lines, I used 2x 8mm rubber caps on the radiator side, and a short length of 8mm pipe on the car side.....unless you can block these lines quickly you will loose AT fluid and it may be enough to hurt the transmission if you don't refill it. Other than that....lets go... "First, jack up your car". Yes really, and put it safely on stands. If you are not confident doing that you need to give this job to a mechanic
    • If the forester is anything like our old 2007 GTB Liberty, I could near on run ling Long's and "rate them", as no matter what, it just hung to the road, even when abusing it in a hard launch in the wet, or throwing it at corners.
    • LOL, all of the CAI like Craig I just need to put a hole saw through my bumper Done and dusted, the car runs, which is nice, I'll take it for a spin when the weather clears up Just need to put the bumper back on for good
    • Brooooo Please send ABS control unit schematic Please! R33 gts25t ABS (Its two plug ecu, black and white) wire colors possible? [email protected]
    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
