Recaro's were already in the car when we almost bought it, almost 3 years ago.

Came close to buying back then, but found ours a few months later.

I may have turned off the traction control on the test drive

i have some pics from it at the dealer ship too

Well I'll be...

Was it advertised as $24k or something when you looked at it? Cos I still have the advert from the import dealership from the guy I bought it off, and I got it off him for $9900!! I couldn't believe it when I saw how much he bought if for. He must have needed the money cos I got him down from 14k pretty easily.

here's what my stag looks like now after a stupid P Plater chick reversed into it on The Esplanade at Christies Beach tonight and then did a runner. Lucky for me a group of guys going for a run saw it happen and chased her long enough to get her rego number. Plus everyone living in the houses near it came out when they heard the bang.

However, when I went to the Police station to report it guess who was there...this same girl reporting the incident and apparently her reason for not stopping was because she panicked and a "Gang of Men" chased her. She told them that I had parked way over the line (which it wasnt) and that she wasn't going any more than 5kmph (which she must have been) and at worst it probably just left a scratch (she hadn't seen the damage cos she'd knicked off)

Here's what a "5kmph scratch" looks like

my phone takes crap photos at night but you can see it was a decent hit

I'm glad that she owned up because even though I had her rego number it's saved everyone the hassle of having to track her down, but I got really annoyed when she tried to say it was my parking that made her hit me. She was issued a fine for fleeing the scene of an accident and the cops said to me that what she was saying didn't make sense and that no matter how she worded it, she was in the wrong.

Many thanks to the guys who got her details for me. There are still some pretty decent people out there.

But it's really ruined my night

edit: I do not think all P Platers are stupid, just this particular one

Duuuude, sorry to hear about the scuff. Dont worry, she'll buff right out :P

Should have handed her a shovel so it made it easier for her to dig that hole she was in :P

Even if it isnt fixed, be good to see you attend next weekend. BTW very nice polish job, tis a great looking car

Here's what all you Sydney-based Stagea owners missed out on AGAIN - I seem to be the only one who's interested in throwing my car around a track or motorkhana circuit event. YOU ALL SUCK!!! :P Why am I always the only one with a Stagea at our events?

These photos are courtesy of Xmetal, who also needs to get his butt back into a Stagea as soon as he possibly can afford to...

Look at the body roll - I need to set the rear swaybar to the stiffer setting!

    • Physically, you'd expect it to turn the motor 11/8ths faster than a standard one, but I'm not sure of specifics
    • Ironically the GTT was quite reliable in the 7 years of ownership. From memory I've only had to replace a radiator and coilpacks out of inconvenience
    • Yes I can see how that would put you off HFM, especially with the price of good quality brake fluid. From what I understand it as you say the BM50 is the standard BMC for a R32 GTR, I must admit I would like to go far a Genuine Nissan BM57, but lack of cash prevents that at present. With the price being so close between the genuine BM50 and BM57 a BM57 New it seems a better choice as you gain that 1/16 bore size with the BM57, I would be interested in how much difference you feel with the BM57 fitted. I am going to take SteveL's advice in the short term and see how much actually comes out of that proportioning valve vent and save up for the Genuine Nissan part. Thanks for clarifying the HFM failure
    • Thanks mate. I just got the post inspection 1/2 done from state roads when the starter motor packed up, either that or the car alarm system is having trouble.  OEM part number 23300-AA112.
    • Hi, I though I was coming to an end in finding a replacement starter motor for a rb25de neo. I came across a starter motor from Taarks and a message below stating: Direct fit. 11 Tooth count. All below part numbers have been superseded to 11 teeth. Can some body shed some light on going from 8 teeth to 11 teeth apart from 36-month / 25,000 km warranty for passenger vehicles to 12 Month Warranty. Compatible with the following Nissan part numbers: 23300-20P00 23300-20P01 23300-20P05 23300-20P10 23300-20P11 23300-AA111 23300-AA112 23300-AA300 23300-08U10 23300-08U11 23300-08U15
