slowpoke. yours is probaly +100,00kms too u just dont know it.

yours is 90,000km for a 93 car. which equals to about ~7000kms a year or ~500km a month... do u think thats right? or...

yours mates 190,000kms for a 94 car which is ~16,000km a year.. and ~1300km a month...

which seems more realistic? winding back clocks is a major thing wen importing a car! but either way u shouldnt be look at km's. condition is wat your after!

hmm.. the car is stock except that the turbo has been changed but im not sure to wat but its runnin at stock boost 0.5 =.= it does not have a fmic and injectors has not been changed as well.. the previous owner from my car when he imported it he did not drive it for like 2-3 years coz he was workin outstation at a mine... so... maybe i got lucky and bought it at tat price.. his engine has not been rebuilt.. and the boot is missin a part that covers the small area where the battery is.. that piece of grey thing... its like he only bought half a car =.="

you spent 50k on your line ? man i dont wanna be rude but i said "STOCK"..

phuong got his impul r33 for 14k, with tonnes of decent mods, i still think its stupid seeing all these dealers selling stocko lines for anything over 13k.

theres a guy near my place who's had the same 5 r33's for years now for sale, they are all around the 20k. its fkn stupid.

why?

If someone is willing to pay 20k for an r33 then why shouldnt the "guy near ur place" sell them for 20k?

there is a big difference between a thrashed out import and a nice clean, non-accident history one

thats my point, obviously if they have been sitting there for so long and no one has bought them then its a rip off :).

dispite what people think, i belive all imports are thrashed, no one buys a turbo car not to thrash it. or at least drive it hard.

clean, is ok, i was suprised when i bought my r32 at how damn clean it was for an r32, made me feel good when handing over the cash.

Car was 23k, the other 27k+ are mods and stuff.... :( It all adds up :(

i do 400ks a month in mine :( still be brand new in 5 yrs haha

I don't even do 120k's a month in mine I WIN :D

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
