Was being an idiot after the drags this evening and walla got pulled over on graham farmer for 72kms over

ouchie

Anyways did a bit of grovelling to avoid getting arrested on the spot and they have me the fine only instead. $350 and 6 points.

ah well shit happens, i guess next week i will be at the drags actually dragging to get it out of my system.

ANyone got a hyundai excel that i can buy or trade for the line (NOT)

by the way my inspiration for this phenominal fine was a hot to trot little blondy flogging the living crap out of her accent (tailgating me and all) so i went into the left lane and let her go through. Then she is hot (i notice) and so i thought nah fluff it i am gonna catch up and then I got caught. bugga

Bet those boys in blue would rather have caught the blondy rather than my ugly mug.

Anyways i am probably gonna start selling stuff off the car. starting with a set of Stock wheels and then posssibly a bleed valve and then a blitz front mount kit

but we will see

Peace boys and girls and always be careful on mt henry bridge and on graham farmer.

i tried to flash some tit but it didnt work, the copper had bigger ones than me so yeah wasnt expecting much, but hey i didnt get arrested so I am glad about that, seriously returning the car to standard bar the exhaust so yeah i think I am selling it in the near future, mind made up, this time. i already lost my licence once and the need for speed is gonna get me there again.

so yeah in addition to all the other crap there will prolly be a 96 r33 and a 1995 s14

Might get a little civic or a golf or something

They threatened to arrest you? Did you do anything other than speed? Cause its total bollocks otherwise. Worse they can do is charge you with dangerous driving, and thats a summons to court in the mail.

Above is AFAIK. Someone correct me.

You were lucky not to get a dangerous driving charge. Thats pretty much a minimum of 3 months suspension. We have it damn lucky here in WA, try reading the eastern state forums for horror stories. 20+km/h = huge fine + many months suspension! (regardless of demerits).

definately bad timing, stupid blond, but godaamn hotness

umm 154 on the readout from 198 meters away and then a 2km drop down etc. he said at the end look we can drop off 30kms but you will still be 40kms over so there is no point really.

umm tits cop was another man, roley poley. i have heard before on my last 6 points and $350 fine about 2 years ago that i could have been arrested as well. could be bollocks though you are more than likely right gradenko

anyways its all good. Like i said I will sell some stuff and save some folding stuff and shell be right.

might get one of those aftermarket computers and drive in chaeffuer mode (spell??)

Yeh, it's tuff eh Riaz ? But my largest fine was 3pts $150...and that stung!

And don't you just HATE those hot chicks that ****tease you in traffic! ugh! ... and i still can't get enough of the highway fliriting...

(and before you say anything, the gf spots them for me!!)

no.. traffic record though as its not a criminal offence.

uummm if you get caught doing 150kmph or more than 60kmph over the speed limit you can go jail, as it classifies as crminal offence....

well that's what I red in the road and traffics act 1875..

as far as I know

summoner, you mean you got caught TWICE for 70km/h over? Did you not learn the first time or are you just galactically stupid?

Speeding on the freeway is a recipe for disaster. It's pretty well policed most of the time (even the far southern bits). Personally I barely speed at all on the road, rarely anymore than 10-15km/h over anyway for any longer than 30 seconds.

If i want to speed big style i'll wait until i can get to the track or make sure its on some road at some time so far out of the way that coppers or even other road users are nowhere to be seen.

I have enough fun most of the time just getting to the speed limit faster than everyone else at the lights, then short shift into 5th. :D

Because speeding kills, right? :D

Chalk another one up for GovernmentCo, they've convinced another pleb of the facts with their propaganda styles.

    • Could be. Could also be that they sit around broken more. To be fair, you almost never see one driving around. I see more R chassis GTRs than the Renault ones.
    • Yeah. Nah. This is why I said My bold for my double emphasis. We're not talking about cars tuned to the edge of det here. We're talking about normal cars. Flame propagation speed and the amount of energy required to ignite the fuel are not significant factors when running at 1500-4000 rpm, and medium to light loads, like nearly every car on the road (except twin cab utes which are driven at 6k and 100% load all the time). There is no shortage of ignition energy available in any petrol engine. If there was, we'd all be in deep shit. The calorific value, on a volume basis, is significantly different, between 98 and 91, and that turns up immediately in consumption numbers. You can see the signal easily if you control for the other variables well enough, and/or collect enough stats. As to not seeing any benefit - we had a couple of EF and EL Falcons in the company fleet back in the late 90s and early 2000s. The EEC IV ECU in those things was particularly good at adding in timing as soon as knock headroom improved, which typically came from putting in some 95 or 98. The responsiveness and power improved noticeably, and the fuel consumption dropped considerably, just from going to 95. Less delta from there to 98 - almost not noticeable, compared to the big differences seen between 91 and 95. Way back in the day, when supermarkets first started selling fuel from their own stations, I did thousands of km in FNQ in a small Toyota. I can't remember if it was a Starlet or an early Yaris. Anyway - the supermarket servos were bringing in cheap fuel from Indonesia, and the other servos were still using locally refined gear. The fuel consumption was typically at least 5%, often as much as 8% worse on the Indo shit, presumably because they had a lot more oxygenated component in the brew, and were probably barely meeting the octane spec. Around the same time or maybe a bit later (like 25 years ago), I could tell the difference between Shell 98 and BP 98, and typically preferred to only use Shell then because the Skyline ran so much better on it. Years later I found the realtionship between them had swapped, as a consequence of yet more refinery closures. So I've only used BP 98 since. Although, I must say that I could not fault the odd tank of United 98 that I've run. It's probably the same stuff. It is also very important to remember that these findings are often dependent on region. With most of the refineries in Oz now dead, there's less variability in local stuff, and he majority of our fuels are not even refined here any more anyway. It probably depends more on which SE Asian refinery is currently cheapest to operate.
    • You don't have an R34 service manual for the body do you? Have found plenty for the engine and drivetrain but nothing else
    • If they can dyno them, get them dyno'd, make sure they're not leaking, and if they look okay on the dyno and are performing relatively well, put them in the car.   If they're leaking oil etc, and you feel so inclined, open them up yourself and see what you can do to fix it. The main thing you're trying to do is replace the parts that perish, like seals. You're not attempting to change the valving. You might even be able to find somewhere that has the Tein parts/rebuild kit if you dig hard.
    • Can you also make sure the invoices on the box (And none exist in the boxes) are below our import duty limits... I jest, there's nothing I need to actually purchase and order in. (Unless you can find me a rear diff carrier, brand new, for stupidly cheap, that is for a Toyota Landcruiser, HZJ105R GXL, 2000 year model...)
