feck i also had a bad dream last night. Dreamt the guy wouldn't do it under warrantee and wouldn't tow my car. Woke up feeling shit. Just called my manager and told him i won't be coming in today.

if he wants to be an ass and not fix it...you have full right to sue him....in fact...he'll be stoopid if he doesnt.

he will loose a lot more if you sue him - negligence on his part, its obviously his fault for not checking the wheels after he changed them

and then you can sue him for emotional damage - i think dreaming about it would proove that

and lost money from not working

and then you could probably get him for wrecklely endangering life/lives

....as bad as it sounds now, id say you have no need to stress, just a pitty about the cruize

hrmz i dunno

shouldn't my mechanic guy pay for the towing?

i just want to make it easy

it should hold with 4 studs right?

haha or maybe someone can weld on another screw

well im gonna try

i need to find a good route slow route from reservoir to springvale.

up to you chop but I wouldn't risk it for the price of a tow maybe 100 bucks or a bit cheaper you could get stuck somewhere or somethign worse might happen or worse have an accident.. give jack a call and ask him how much tell him you are from skyliens forum he will help out a fellow owner I got stuck after he left with the skyline yesterday flat battery eh came back helped me get it started and then followed me to the petrol station to make sure was okay,. He / Noontas who is the guy he is driving for do heaps of improts and always look after the cars. He has helped me out of the shit many a time..

that suxs dude.

Sounds like the guys who sold u the car put some bodgy nuts on when they changed your rims, coz for the nuts to just come undone like that is farkin weird. U sure u had 5 nuts on that wheel in the first place? Dont drive it back u will *** up more stuff.

i feel for ya chops........at least nobody got hurt. maybe its a good idea to get the original 17" back on with the proper nuts??

anyhoo's......im just going for the meet up on sat cause i got a bday to go to later so u could bum a ride off me to the stockyards and then jump in someone elses car for the drive in. not the same as drivin ur own liner but at least u get to meet everyone:D

dont worry...................be happy.......dooooooo.....do.. do.. do do......do de do de do de dooooo!!:)

well the his mechanic rang me and he reckons someone tried to loosen the nuts and said to bring it down.

thats ****in bullshit, i didn't touch the wheels at all,

well **** he sounds unreluctant to fix it on warrantee, he said he personally did it himself and tightened them

and he told me to tow it

thats bullshit im not paying for towing all the way from reservoir. So i told him to speak to the boss (Van) about it and then ring me later.

this is gh3y

hey ice its in a pretty safe place atm

um, chop...it dont look good:(

i just got back from milk's place....the word dodgy comes to mind with that car in a BIG way...seriously, id be asking for a refund(if thats posible?) also, something doesnt look and sound right with the back left wheel?

tightening the nuts, it felt like the thread was wrong? the nuts are smaller than the wheel brace. just wondering if there is a universal thread size used on all cars or if they're different? or wheather the threads on the bolts just got fcuked up when the wheel was loose?

yea it seems drivable (kinda) but its risky/unstable...i dont know how far you want to drive it

have you made any inquires about price for towing? it wouldnt hurt to know instead of just guessing. as far as i can see...you should have nothing to do with it getting fixed up! it was there fault, wheather that can be prooved tho?

it makes me sooo angry to hear they are trying to shrug you off!

i would be glad to help if you intend to move it tho...not that i can do much:(

ok called jack the tower

he quoted $120

which is ok

[thanks ice180]

my mum is getting a hissy fit and doesn't want me to pay for the towing. she wants me to take the guy up there to look at it himself. *sigh* now shes all angry at me and taking it out on me. farking i don't need this.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
