Has to be slicks - 26x8.5's would be the go!!!

As her launch technique relys on a bit of tyreslip, a bit of testing may be required to get it right.

She's just not interested in joining the masses in "sport rear", and would like to make some "sport mod" guys a little nervous sitting at the lights watching her disappear....does anybody know how to say "red light"?

Adrian..... hah hah hah

Ha Ha, seems everybody is O.K. with the GTR parts but no badges. thats cool. wasnt keen on badges anyway.

Feck it, im running out and buying a GTR badge for my GTST...only because it seems to annoy so many people. Actually i sae an E33 Vspec sticker for sale the other day, throw that on as well.

It's a funny idea but as we discussed on the phone the other day, not exactly safe. A car that runs low 10's being chased down by a car running high 7's isn't cool. It's the same drama as SuperSedan right now. 210mph MR MAD type cars chasing down a car that left 4 WHOLE SECONDS BEFORE THEM! :(

I guess thats why sport compact racing is so much better suited to our racing. ANDRA should have a good look at how we divide classes up. with the exception of 4WD racing against 2WD, but we wont go there again.

Its definately the speed difference that is scary. Just like how your car runs 120mph and mine will run 160mph, HaHa.

You're the biggest! :):O:)

Hey, just noticed the g/box and manual conversion in the classifides, your the biggest, something you should be telling me?

Yeah...he's getting a little lazy in his old age...couldn't be tossed shifting his own gears.

Obviously you know something about manualised automatics that the rest of us don't, Pauly-D'Mac! :)

It's true, i'm getting lazy - I could SO be tossed though!!!

this thread is more like it...............ha ha

As some of you know, i have purchased a R32 GTST, i have purchased a GTR rear Diff assy for strength, GTR rear quarter panels as to run a larger tyre, and a GTR front style bar to suit the large front mount.

I have no intentions of changing the front guards, running GTR wings Or Badging it as such, but it seems that some members of this forum not mentioning any names 2rismo, BU5TER and all the other whale riders have already labeled it as a GTR cheater ricer wanabe. So my question is, what classifies a car as a GTR wanabe. Someone who is using parts for performance improvement, or one who badges his GTST as a GTR although it is stock. all opinions welcome, as in my opinion nitrous is the for cheater ricer f**ks and 2rismo knows im going to chop him hard.

    • Yeh I think i'll message an old contact i had for ages that manages his own tyre shop now.. n tell him what i want n work with him before ordering..  Got this 17x9 +30 Driftteks on 245/45/17 PSR Drag Radials on the rear.. They fit well - for your reference in future - Rear guards  have been lipped in & minimal to non flaring of the rear Gaurds.
    • If only it were that easy! I also needed to remove seats, shocks, brake calipers, send my car through a fence, and use measuring and ended up guessing because I didn't remove seats, shocks and brake calipers. It can be hard sometimes Can be a little more complex than 'just measure' if you want to truly measure the entire wheel through all of it's suspension travel. But if you aren't going for every last mm then yeah, you can check the space you currently have and guesstimate.
    • If you own a car, and it has wheels on it, and you know the offset of those wheels, and you have a measuring device, you have everything you need to work out if other wheels will fit.
    • Will this fit? but they are staggered set - RAYS 57DR SEMI GLOSS BLACK 18x8.5 +37 | 18x9.5 +38 5-114.3 STAGGERED SET   or If no go could just get a set 4's wheels of 18x8.5 +37 5-114.3 - would i run 8.5's 235s up front n 245's at the back if I do?   Thanks.
    • Put a clamp on your return line. I have a feeling it's sucking air, and introducing bubbles to your fuel. With a lot of fuel, less problematic. I'd honestly be redoing all the lines in the tank and clamps on everything.   Also, you've given two different answers to the same question: Asked if being followed by the police you could get down to use the whole tank, you said yes you could, so long as you keep off boost. However, you then followed this up that free revving, it would also cause the issues. I'm doubting free revving is enough to make any noticeable boost on what is likely a decent sized turbo.   So now I have to ask, can you actually drive it lightly and use all the fuel, or does it break up even free revving? Also, have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? Can you hear the pump change noise at all when you're having this issue?
