Fujitsubo Twin Pipe Catback

I'm thnking of getting one of these systems...

If someone has one, how loud is it? db? Soundfiles would be awesome!! Is it stainless or coated/painted mild steel?

I know Fujitsubo exhausts get a great rap on these forums. Just wanna know if this has a good rumble to it, I currently have a Nismo stainless catback that barely sounds different to stock. I want the trademark RB rumble low down and the nice bark up top. Currently it just sounds like a blowing noise.

I'd prefer something like the Kakimoto twin pipe/canon catbacks but cannot find one anywhere. If anyone has one or knows where to find one please let me know.

Thats the same exhaust I have, not only that, I think its the actual photo of my exhaust if you took it from the Option 1 Garage website.

Its pretty quiet

It might actually be a pic of your exhaust I found this pic on the forums while I was looking for info on the one I'm considering.

Do you have any means of recording the sound? I'd love to hear one. Do you have anymore to add in terms of a review?

In terms of review, I would say it looks nice and sedate, and sounds the same too. It does have a hint of the RB rumble, but nothing like you would expect from say an A'PEXi N1.

My Digicam has a sound recording feature so I'll try to get a recording tomorrow.

Do you know if they're still selling these? I was pretty sure Fujitsubo stopped making them?

I have a full turbo back kakimoto dual muffler system. The catback will bolt directly on R33 GTST. I'm after $850 for it.

Allblitz, depending on what Sidd says tomorrow I might have to take you up on that. My only thought is that gtst system splits after the flange on the cat, whereas the full twin would run two cats. Is that right?

He's talking it up a bit tho, doubt he would have paid $2800 with a trade discount as option 1 garage let me have mine for $900 as a couple of flanges went missing when it was shipped to Australia.

Lucky for me.. I have sourced a "Kakimoto Hyper2000 FullMega N1+Dual" as pictured above. (Just love how Japanese the name sounds )

So I'm sure the line will be sounding a whole lot beefier on Monday.

that ebay seller talks a lot of bullshit about his parts. I actually bid against him on some stuff on yahoo japan only to see him then list it (after beating me) on ebay with a whole bullshit story about how they were parts he bought brand new (rubbish) for his race car, etc ,etc... plenty of lies and plenty of mark-up too.
